About Rebel Athletic
At Rebel Athletic, we don’t just make apparel. We create confidence, empower performance, and redefine what it means to wear your passion.
Since 2012, we’ve disrupted the industry as the fastest growing cheer and performance wear brand in the world. Recognized by global brand consultancy Eat Big Fish as a Challenger Brand to Watch, Rebel is known for bold design, innovation, and unmatched custom craftsmanship.
From couture-inspired uniforms to elevated athleisure, we blend high fashion with high function. Every piece is built for athletes and performers who want to stand out, not blend in.
Founded by Karen Aldridge, Rebel started as a bold idea and grew into a global movement that celebrates creativity, individuality, and empowerment.
Our business is rooted in a made-to-order team and group orders. We partner directly with teams, gyms, studios, and program owners to design and produce custom uniforms, costumes, and performance apparel at scale. This collaborative approach brings each program’s vision to life through high-quality, fully customized pieces built for both performance and impact.
At Rebel, we’re not just creating garments. We’re building a community of dreamers, doers, and disruptors who lead with purpose and aren’t afraid to shine.
Summary of Position
We are looking for driven, personable Outside Sales Representatives to grow our presence in the School Cheer market. In this role, you are the primary connection between Rebel and the programs in your territory. You will meet with customers in person, learn their needs, guide them through the process, and help them create something they’re excited to wear. You’ll work closely with internal teams who support design, production, and customer experience, but you are the relationship builder who keeps everything moving.
This role is best suited for someone who enjoys being out in the field, meeting new people, building relationships, and managing their own pace and performance. Success in this role comes from developing strong customer partnerships and growing your territory over time.
This is a full-time position that requires a minimum commitment of 40 hours per week. As a territory-based sales representative, you are expected to dedicate your time to managing customer relationships, prospecting, appointments, events, and territory development. Due to the nature of the role, workweeks may regularly exceed 40 hours during peak seasons, competitions, events, and customer deadlines.
Location
This is a remote, territory-based role. Candidates must be located in or near one of these areas and able to travel locally for in-person meetings, events, and territory support:
- Randall County, Texas

- Spend a minimum of 50% of time in the field prospecting within your territory
- Cold call, visit, and engage schools, gyms, and programs daily
- Generate new leads through consistent outreach, networking, and event presence
- Build pipeline through disciplined prospecting, not inbound reliance
- Maintain high activity levels across calls, visits, and follow-ups
Sales Execution and Closing
- Own the full sales cycle from first contact through close
- Conduct in-person presentations, fittings, and product demonstrations
- Drive urgency in the sales process and move opportunities forward
- Close business consistently and convert prospects into long-term customers
- Handle objections confidently and maintain control of the sales process
Customer Management and Responsiveness
- Maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers
- Respond quickly and professionally to customer inquiries, requests, and issues
- Set clear expectations and ensure follow-through on all commitments
- Deliver a high level of service that reinforces trust and drives repeat business
Cross-Functional Execution
- Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate order execution and delivery timelines
- Communicate clearly on customer needs, deadlines, and expectations
- Own the customer experience from sale through fulfillment
Events and Market Presence
- Represent Rebel Athletic at competitions, trade shows, and industry events
- Use events as a primary source of lead generation and relationship building
- Establish strong visibility and credibility within your market
Performance and Accountability
- Meet or exceed sales targets consistently
- Maintain accurate pipeline, activity tracking, and reporting
- Operate with urgency, discipline, and a results-driven mindset
- Take accountability for both wins and losses within your territory
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of outside or territory sales experience
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Demonstrated experience in cold calling, prospecting, and closing
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory without supervision

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general CRM usage
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cheer, dance, athletics, or apparel
- Existing network within schools, gyms, or athletic programs
- Experience with event-based or seasonal sales cycles

Tips for Your Remote Outside Sales Manager Job Search
Apply early to remote roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists remote outside sales manager openings from across the U.S. in one place, so you can find roles that match your industry and territory experience and apply directly without sorting through unrelated listings.
Document your remote sales performance clearly
Remote employers want evidence you can drive revenue without daily in-person oversight. Quantify territory growth, quota attainment, and any distributed team results in your materials so hiring managers can evaluate your independent performance at a glance.
Demonstrate async communication before the interview
Outside sales manager roles at remote companies depend on written coordination across reps, leadership, and cross-functional teams. A concise, well-structured follow-up email after your first screen signals you can manage a distributed team through async channels, not just phone calls.
Prepare your remote territory management story
Remote interviewers consistently ask how you manage field reps you rarely see in person. Walk through a specific situation where you set expectations, tracked pipeline, and coached performance entirely through digital tools, naming the CRM and communication platforms you used.
Align your availability with distributed team rhythms
Many remote outside sales teams operate across multiple time zones. Ask directly about team coverage hours and show you can run pipeline reviews, rep one-on-ones, and forecasting calls on a schedule that works for a distributed org, not just a single-office environment.
Remote Outside Sales Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote outside sales manager job?
Target companies that already run distributed sales teams, since those employers have built the infrastructure and culture for remote outside sales work. Remote hiring managers screen for self-direction, consistent pipeline management without in-person supervision, and strong written communication for async coordination with internal teams. Candidates who can show a history of hitting territory goals independently and who are comfortable with video-based relationship building stand out most.
Which companies hire remote outside sales managers?
Companies hiring remote outside sales managers right now include Rebel Athletic, Richelieu Hardware, and United Bags, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Remote-first technology firms, healthcare solutions companies, and enterprise SaaS providers make up a large share of these openings, as their distributed structures make remote field sales management a natural fit.
Can you get a remote outside sales manager job with no experience?
Yes, but remote entry-level outside sales manager roles are harder to land because employers expect you to manage a territory and drive results with minimal daily oversight from day one. Your strongest path is through companies that promote from within their remote sales rep ranks, or smaller remote-first firms that value demonstrated self-management. Showing a quota you owned, a book of accounts you built, or a team you informally mentored carries real weight when direct management experience is thin.
Do you need a degree for remote outside sales manager jobs?
Not always. Many remote employers weigh a documented sales record, measurable revenue outcomes, and the ability to coach and develop reps far more heavily than a specific degree. A bachelor's in business or a related field can help with enterprise or financial services employers, but consistent performance data, proficiency with CRM platforms, and evidence of managing remote relationships often matter more in practice.
Which industries hire the most remote outside sales managers?
Remote outside sales manager roles concentrate in Fashion & Apparel, Manufacturing, and Distribution & Wholesale, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. These sectors rely on distributed field sales structures where managers coordinate geographically spread reps, making remote oversight a standard operating model rather than an exception.
