If you're passionate about leveraging technology to provide the best customer service experience and are ready to be a part of our journey, we welcome you to explore opportunities at Swyfft!
About the Position:
We are searching for an experienced VP, Marketing with P&C insurance experience to drive the strategic direction of how we present ourselves to agents, brokers, policyholders, carrier partners, and the marketplace.
This is a fast-paced, roll up your sleeves position that partners closely with our sales, underwriting, and executive leadership teams to amplify our brand and grow our distribution network. We need fresh ideas, great leadership and a communication plan that articulates our value proposition in highly competitive and often volatile markets.
We're not looking for a traditional marketing executive or CMO who manages agencies and approves campaigns. We're looking for a builder — someone who is energized by the challenge of establishing a brand in difficult markets, who understands the nuances of insurance distribution, and who can move fast without sacrificing quality.
Swyfft is about to embark on a very exciting time filled with growth and opportunity.
If this gets you excited, then we need to talk! Previous experience leading a small marketing team with varying levels of experience is required.
This position is a 100% remote U.S. based opportunity that can be based in one of the following states only: AL, AZ, FL, GA, KY, LA, MA, MO, NC, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI.
Some travel for day-to-day work, team meetings, and training will be required.
Key Responsibilities: (What you'll be asked to do)
Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Define and champion Swyfft’s brand identity across all markets, ensuring consistency and relevance with agents, carriers, and policyholders.
- Develop messaging frameworks that clearly communicate our expertise in CAT-exposed coastal regions and California markets.
- Differentiate our brand in competitive markets where trust, capacity, and responsiveness are key.
Distribution & Channel Marketing
- Design and execute agent and broker recruitment campaigns to rapidly grow our distribution network across our current states and into new markets as we expand.
- Build targeted outreach strategies for coastal property specialists, surplus lines producers, and independent agents operating in admitted and non-admitted markets.
- Develop co-marketing programs and collateral that support our distribution partners in the field.
Digital Presence & Content
- Oversee digital marketing channels including website, email, SEO/SEM, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms relevant to the insurance distribution space.
- Create compelling content, thought leadership articles, market updates, CAT event communications, and producer resources that build credibility and drive engagement.
- Leverage data analytics to measure campaign performance and optimize spend across traditional and social media channels.
Market Intelligence & Product Storytelling
- Monitor and synthesize industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics across all active states with a particular focus on Florida, Texas, Louisiana, and California.
- Translate complex underwriting and product information into clear, compelling marketing narratives for producers and prospects.
- Provide the executive team with market insight that informs go-to-market strategy and new state expansion decisions.
Event & Conference Strategy
- Identify, plan, and maximize presence at key industry events (NAPSLO, Big "I", state surplus lines associations, CAT conferences, etc.).
- Develop trade show strategies and post-event follow-up programs that convert relationships into distribution partnerships and measure ROI.
Team & Budget Leadership
- Manage a marketing function, including vendors and a small but mighty internal team of varying levels of expertise.
- Operate efficiently within budget constraints while demonstrating creativity and resourcefulness in execution.
The Successful Candidate: (What we're looking for)
- 7+ years of progressive marketing experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years in property & casualty insurance with a demonstrated knowledge of the property and casualty insurance market, particularly in CAT-exposed territories (coastal wind, flood, wildfire)
- Experience with both B2B marketing (agents, brokers, wholesale distribution channels) and B2C or policyholder-facing communications.
- Experience managing and utilizing CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot), marketing automation tools, and analytics dashboards to drive company growth.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; you can write, present, and persuade across various audiences.
Some Requirements:
- A builder's mindset. You've launched things, figured things out without a roadmap, and built structure in environments that were moving fast.
- A keen eye for design and strong aesthetic instincts that pushes creative boundaries and elevates a brand.
- Experience driving revenue growth, pipeline creation, and GWP through measurable marketing strategies.
- Leading high‑impact, data‑driven marketing initiatives with measurable ROI.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field required.
Computer Skills:

Tips for Your Remote P C Insurance Job Search
Apply early to remote roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists remote p c insurance openings from carriers and insurtechs across the U.S. in one place, so you can find roles that match your license type and lines of authority and apply directly without sorting through unrelated postings.
Highlight your active state licenses upfront
Remote p c insurance employers scan for licensure before anything else. List every active state license, the lines of authority each covers, and your license numbers in a dedicated section near the top of your resume so hiring managers can confirm compliance at a glance.
Show async communication skills concretely
Distributed teams rely on written handoffs, ticketing systems, and documentation over live calls. Point to specific examples of policy summaries, coverage memos, or claims correspondence you wrote, and name the platforms you used, such as agency management systems or internal claims tools.
Prepare for a remote technical screen
Many remote p c insurance interviews include a coverage scenario or underwriting case study delivered by video or asynchronous assessment. Practice walking through a real account decision out loud, explaining your reasoning on coverage gaps, endorsements, or loss ratios the way you would in a written client-facing note.
Remote P C Insurance Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote p c insurance job?
Remote p c insurance employers prioritize candidates who can underwrite, service, or adjust claims independently without in-office oversight. Carriers and insurtechs hiring distributed teams screen for strong written communication, familiarity with policy management systems, and the ability to manage a book of business without hand-holding. Holding an active state license and showing measurable results on prior accounts gives you a clear edge over candidates with similar experience but no remote work history.
Which companies hire remote p c insurances?
Companies hiring remote p c insurances right now include RELI Exchange, Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, and Crum & Forster, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Remote-first carriers, managing general agents, and insurtech platforms across personal lines, commercial lines, and specialty markets are the most consistent sources of distributed p c insurance roles.
Can you get a remote p c insurance job with no experience?
Yes, but remote entry-level p c insurance roles are harder to land because employers expect you to handle policies and client questions independently from day one. Smaller regional carriers and insurtechs are more likely to hire entry-level remotely than large national carriers. Completing a state licensing exam, earning a foundational designation like CPCU or AINS, and demonstrating written communication skills through sample work or coursework can open the door when direct experience is thin.
Do you need a degree for remote p c insurance jobs?
Not always. Remote p c insurance employers weigh active state licensure, product knowledge, and a demonstrated ability to manage accounts or adjust claims far more heavily than a degree. Many distributed teams hire candidates who hold relevant designations and can show a history of working through complex coverage questions accurately. A degree can help at larger carriers for underwriting analyst tracks, but it rarely decides a remote hire on its own.
Which industries hire the most remote p c insurances?
Most remote p c insurance openings sit in Insurance and Technology & Software, per current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Those sectors rely on distributed teams to service policyholders, manage commercial accounts, and handle claims across multiple time zones without requiring staff to report to a single office location.
