We do this by our values-driven culture—one that enables you to Be Seen, Be Yourself, and Do Your Best Work.
About You
We are seeking a dynamic, technical, and highly strategic Product Sales Specialist to drive growth across our IT Advisor and Managed Service Provider (MSP) ecosystems. In this role, you will be the primary bridge between our trusted advisor community and the world's leading technology platforms.
You will be responsible for enabling, coaching, and co-selling with advisors to unlock massive revenue streams using the AppDirect subscription commerce platform, alongside public cloud giants: Google Cloud (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate has a unique blend of relationship-building mastery and deep cloud marketplace acumen, transforming traditional telecom and IT agents into modern Cloud Solutions Architects.
What you'll do and how you'll have an impact
- Advisor & MSP Enablement
- Ecosystem Activation: Serve as the champion for a portfolio of IT Advisors and MSPs, educating them on the full breadth of the AppDirect public cloud catalogs.
- Cloud GTM Coaching: Conduct training sessions and workshops to guide partners through cloud marketplace landscapes, co-selling motions with hyperscalers, and subscription economics.
- Technical Translation: Help traditional hardware/telecom advisors understand and confidently pitch complex multi-cloud solutions (IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS) to their enterprise clients.
- Pipeline Generation & Co-Selling
- Deal Strategy & Architecture: Partner directly with advisors on end-user discovery calls to map out IT roadmaps, evaluate workloads, and recommend optimized AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
- Pricing & CPQ Management: Utilize AppDirect's billing and quoting tools to build accurate, multi-category solutions, manage deal registrations, and structure competitive pricing models.
- Hyperscaler Alignment: Work hand-in-hand with AWS, Microsoft, and Google regional partner managers to leverage SPIFFs, incentives, and co-sell programs that accelerate deal velocity.
- Partner Growth & Strategy (25%)
- Strategic Business Reviews: Deliver recurring Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with top-tier advisors to track KPIs, identify whitespace opportunities, and minimize churn.
- Feedback Loop: Act as the voice of the advisor community, collaborating closely with internal Product, Operations, and Engineering teams to refine the marketplace user experience.
- Cross-Category Expansion: Actively identify upsell opportunities into adjacent tech categories, including Managed Services, Security (MSSP), and AI-driven SaaS tools.
What we're looking for
- Experience: Minimum 4–6 years of experience in Channel Sales, Partner Management, or Customer Success within a B2B technology environment.
- Ecosystem Familiarity: Proven track record working directly with the IT Advisor/Agent community or managing MSP partner relationships.
- Cloud Marketplace Expertise: Mandatory hands-on experience navigating at least one major Cloud Marketplace ecosystem (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud) and their respective partner networks (APN, MCPP, GDN).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (equivalent practical experience will be heavily considered).
- Cloud Fundamentals: Solid comprehension of cloud architecture concepts (compute, storage, serverless, database migrations, and cloud security compliance).
- Certifications (Highly Preferred):
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
- Google Cloud Digital Leader
- Tools & Software: Mastery of modern CRM platforms (Salesforce or HubSpot) and collaborative business suites (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365). Familiarity with CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) platforms is a major plus.

Tips for Your Remote Product Specialist Job Search
Apply early to remote roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists remote product specialist openings from across the U.S. in one place. Check new listings regularly and apply as soon as a role matches your experience, because remote openings at distributed teams often close faster than on-site equivalents.
Prove async communication skills upfront
Remote product specialist teams run on written communication. Craft a cover letter and resume that show how you've documented product requirements, synthesized customer feedback, or coordinated cross-functional work without real-time meetings. Specific examples outperform general claims every time.
Build a visible remote product portfolio
Put product teardowns, feature briefs, or customer research summaries somewhere a hiring manager can review them before your interview. Remote employers move fast and a concrete artifact of your thinking closes the gap that in-person observation would otherwise fill.
Learn the tools distributed product teams use
Get fluent in Jira, Confluence, Notion, Productboard, or Figma before your interviews. Remote product specialist roles at distributed companies expect you to hit the ground running with these tools, and fluency signals you can contribute independently from your first week.
Remote Product Specialist Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote product specialist job?
Target remote-first companies and distributed SaaS or technology teams, where product specialists work asynchronously with cross-functional groups. Remote employers screen for strong written communication, self-direction, and the ability to manage product feedback and documentation without in-person oversight. Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Productboard, combined with a portfolio of product launches or customer-facing work, gives you a clear edge.
Which companies hire remote product specialists?
Companies hiring remote product specialists right now include CVS Health, Tribe Wellness Sales, and ODRA Road Sweepers, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Remote-first SaaS firms, distributed fintech platforms, and healthcare technology companies make up a large share of employers actively hiring product specialists for fully remote roles.
Can you get a remote product specialist job with no experience?
Yes, but remote entry-level product specialist roles are harder to land because employers expect you to work independently from day one without in-person guidance. Your strongest options are smaller remote-first startups and SaaS companies that hire juniors. Showing a side project, a product teardown, or customer research work you've done on your own demonstrates the self-direction remote teams need most.
Do you need a degree for remote product specialist jobs?
Not always. Remote employers hiring product specialists weigh demonstrated product knowledge, customer communication skills, and measurable results more heavily than a specific degree. Certifications in product management, a portfolio of product documentation or feedback analysis, and hands-on experience with product lifecycle tools can carry as much weight as a four-year degree for many remote roles.
Which industries hire the most remote product specialists?
Most remote product specialist openings sit in Technology & Software, Insurance, and Manufacturing, per current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. These sectors rely on distributed teams that work across time zones, making remote product specialists a practical fit for coordinating product feedback, documentation, and go-to-market execution without a central office.
