This is a remote position in the U.S. with occasional travel to Nashville for in-person team gatherings. #LI-Remote
Responsibilities:
- Lives out Lifeway’s mission and values, showing deep commitment to Kingdom work
- Limited travel: 2-4 times per year, typically overnight
- Serve as the primary administrator for Lifeway's marketing platform (currently Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement), owning configuration, maintenance, and governance
- Build and enhance platform features including contact suppression automations, unsubscribe workflows, data lookup toolsets, and audience segmentation capabilities
- Manage integrations between the marketing platform and connected systems including Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, Form.io, and Snowflake
- Configure and maintain data ingestion pipelines that power audience building and segmentation at scale
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders and translate business needs into scalable, best-practice platform solutions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with development teams to integrate the marketing platform with websites and coordinate a custom preference center
- Configure and maintain data export processes that support reporting, analytics, and data backup strategies
- Proactively monitor platform release updates, security reviews, and health checks to surface new opportunities and flag necessary adjustments
- Create and maintain technical documentation and communicate platform changes to trainers, end users, and stakeholders
- Contribute to platform roadmap planning, sprint ceremonies (standups, backlog grooming, kickoffs, and retros), and coordinate SSO and role management with IT Operations and Security
Skills, Knowledge, & Experiences, required
- Ability to travel to the Middle Tennessee area 2-4 times annually for team gatherings
- 5+ years of hands-on experience administering Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement or a comparable enterprise marketing platform
- 2+ years of experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud or another CRM platform
- Proficiency in SQL for complex joins, data normalization, and segmentation queries
- Familiarity with Server-Side JavaScript and Cloudpages for connecting REST and SOAP APIs Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering practical, durable solutions
- Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams in a cross-functional environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in an agile sprint environment
Skills, Knowledge, & Experiences, preferred
- Experience with AMPScript for dynamic content and personalization within Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Familiarity with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouse platforms
- Experience configuring single sign-on (SSO) integrations and managing platform roles and permissions
