About this Role:
In this role, you will act as a core engine for both strategic sourcing and procurement operations. You will fully own the end-to-end sourcing and negotiation lifecycle for our mid-tier spend bucket ($25k–$250k contract value), manage day-to-day procurement operations, and project-manage the digital transformation of our intake-to-pay infrastructure. This is an exceptional opportunity for a builder who loves both negotiation and process optimization.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation (40%)
- Proactively manage and execute the sourcing and negotiation lifecycle for $25k–$250k contracts, focusing heavily on SaaS, Tech, and Professional Services.
- Develop sourcing strategies that optimize vendor selection, maximize commercial leverage, and protect Lyra’s margins.
2. Procurement Operations & Tech Stack Transformation (40%)
- Serve as the dedicated Project Manager for our Intake-to-Pay (P2P) platform implementation, collaborating with IT, Legal, and Finance to ensure a seamless rollout.
- Manage day-to-day administration and optimization of our core fintech and procurement tools, including Navan and Brex.
3. Data Analytics & Stakeholder Collaboration (20%)
- Act as an Excel power-user; analyze large datasets, identify spend trends, catch auto-renewals early, and eliminate maverick spend.
- Sanitize and structure spend data to provide granular insights for our annual Zero-Based Budgeting (ZBB) process.
- Build cross-functional relationships with Legal, InfoSec, Privacy, AI, Tech, and FP&A to ensure all operational intake requirements are automated and compliant.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement operations, or supply chain management, preferably within a high-growth tech or healthcare environment.
- SaaS & Category Expertise: Proven track record of independently negotiating mid-tier technology (SaaS), Marketing, Consulting, and Professional Services contracts.
- Systems Fluent: Hands-on experience with modern Procurement/P2P software and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools. Experience leading or heavily supporting a P2P tool implementation is a massive plus.
- Analytical Polish: Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills with the ability to turn spend data into highly structured, actionable information.
- Project Management: Exceptional time-management and project management skills; ability to balance running multiple fast-moving sourcing projects simultaneously with a major software rollout.
- Communication: Ability to navigate cross-functional bottlenecks and negotiate effectively with vendors.
As a full-time Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will be employed by Lyra Health, Inc. The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $85,000 - $117,000. The base range is determined by role and level, and placement within the range will depend on a number of job-related factors, including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
Annual salary is only one part of an employee’s total compensation package at Lyra. We also offer generous benefits that include:
- Comprehensive healthcare coverage (including medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, life and disability insurances)
- Lyra for Lyrians; coaching and therapy services
- Equity in the company through discretionary restricted stock units
- Competitive time off with pay policies including vacation, sick days, and company holidays
- Paid parental leave
- 401K with up to 3% matching
- Monthly tech allowance
- We like to spread joy throughout the year with well-being perks and activities, surprise swag, regular community celebration…and more!

Tips for Your Remote Sourcing Analyst Job Search
Quantify savings on your resume
Sourcing analyst resumes stand out when you attach dollar figures or percentages to cost-reduction outcomes. If you negotiated vendor contracts or consolidated suppliers, show the result. Hiring managers in procurement scan for proof you moved the needle, not just that you ran RFQs.
List procurement tools by category
Spell out every sourcing platform you've used, SAP Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, Oracle, and separate them from analytics tools like Tableau or Power BI. Recruiters filter applicants by tool name, and burying them in a paragraph instead of a dedicated skills section costs you interviews.
Filter openings by category and industry
Sourcing analyst roles vary sharply by category: direct materials, indirect spend, services, and logistics each require different supplier knowledge. Targeting openings in your category of experience, rather than applying broadly, makes your resume immediately relevant to the hiring manager reviewing it.
Apply early to roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists sourcing analyst openings from across the United States in one place, so you can find roles that match and apply directly to each listing.
Prepare for a supplier scenario question
Interviewers routinely ask you to walk through how you'd evaluate and select a new supplier under time pressure. Prepare a real example with a clear process: market analysis, RFP development, scoring criteria, and award decision. Vague answers here eliminate otherwise strong candidates.
Negotiate using total cost of ownership
When an offer comes in, frame your counteroffer around the value you deliver in total cost reduction, not just salary benchmarks. Procurement hiring teams understand economic arguments, and framing your compensation ask around ROI tends to land better than a straightforward number.
Remote Sourcing Analyst Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote sourcing analyst job?
Target companies that already run distributed teams, since they hire remotely by default and know how to onboard someone they never meet in person. Remote sourcing analyst employers screen hard for self-direction and clear written communication on top of the core skills, so show evidence you can own work without someone over your shoulder. Apply to the openings above that match your experience.
Which companies hire remote sourcing analysts?
Employers currently hiring remote sourcing analysts include Accenture, Alvarez & Marsal, and Vf Services, per current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Remote-first firms and large companies running distributed teams post the most remote sourcing analyst roles.
Can you get a remote sourcing analyst job with no experience?
Yes, but it is harder than an on-site role, because remote work expects you to operate independently from the start. Entry-level remote sourcing analyst openings do exist, especially at remote-first companies, and a portfolio of real work helps more than a long resume. Applying broadly to the roles that fit improves your odds.
Do you need a degree for remote sourcing analyst jobs?
Not always. Many employers hire remote sourcing analysts on demonstrated skills and prior work rather than a specific degree, though some larger companies still prefer one. Showing relevant results matters more than a credential for most remote sourcing analyst roles.
Which industries hire the most remote sourcing analysts?
Most remote sourcing analyst openings sit in Consulting & Professional Services, Technology & Software, and Healthcare & Medical Services, per current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. These sectors run distributed teams and hire sourcing analysts remotely most consistently.
