The Role
We’re looking for a Technical Support & Repair Specialist to join our fast-paced Support team. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, quickly diagnosing equipment issues, guiding troubleshooting over the phone, determining when units need to be returned to Cassida for repair, and assisting with installations and hands-on equipment repairs.
What You’ll Do:
Primary Role: Provide technical support via phone and email
- Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues
- Assist with installations and device maintenance
- Document all support interactions in our ticketing system
- Collaborate with teams to resolve complex problems
- Perform physical repairs, testing, and maintenance of devices as needed
- Integrate call center support and depot repair functions for a seamless customer experience
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30PM (On-Site)
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced call center, technical support, or customer service environment.
- Strong communication and active listening skills, with the ability to quickly understand customer concerns, ask the right diagnostic questions, and guide conversations efficiently. Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Proven ability to explain technical issues to non-technical customers and walk them through step-by-step troubleshooting over the phone or email.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, including experience with hardware, software, and electromechanical equipment.
- Ability to quickly assess equipment issues and determine whether they can be resolved remotely, or warrant the unit to be sent in for repair.
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to follow troubleshooting procedures, recognize when further troubleshooting is no longer productive.
- Ability to manage back-to-back calls, prioritize urgent customer issues, and multitask while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Experience using ticketing systems to accurately document customer concerns, equipment details, error codes, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
- Strong focus on first-call resolution, minimizing equipment downtime.
- Experience coordinating service dispatches, technician visits, equipment swaps, replacement shipments, or service escalations is a plus.
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and solutions-oriented when dealing with frustrated customers or time-sensitive equipment issues.
- Knowledge of cash-handling equipment and processes, including bill and coin detection, sorting, counterfeit detection technologies, or similar equipment, is a plus.
- Reliable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
