Summary:
Simply put, this job isn't for everyone; this requires someone that is a self-starter, independent, and comfortable as a 1099 (not W2) contractor. No other experience necessary, we will teach you what you need to know and what to do to find lasting success.
You will not be micromanaged, instead you will be expected to work and produce independently (which we will help you do). Most of our reps across the nation have changed their lives once they take the "risk" of being in a 1099, commission-only job; the first 3 months are certainly the hardest, but after that you'll love the 1099 life.
A 1099 pays far less in taxes than a w2, and as a 1099 contractor you are free to set your own schedule and work as you please. The freedom, both in regards to time and money, is incredible.
If you are a candidate that is comfortable with the above, the sky is truly the limit. Contractors in this company (nationwide) quite easily make over $100,000 per year.
This is technically a sales job, but it requires no experience and is simply about talking to people. We're not selling vacuums, solar panels, or security systems; we are helping homeowners with storm damage get new roofs via their insurance. Roofing Jobs in Colorado: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a roofing in Colorado?
Colorado requires roofing contractors to hold a state-issued roofing contractor registration through the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies if they operate their own business, but journey-level workers can be hired by a licensed contractor without holding an individual license. Most employers want candidates who have completed an apprenticeship through the United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers or who have hands-on field experience. OSHA safety training strengthens any application considerably.
Which companies hire roofings in Colorado?
Companies currently hiring roofings in Colorado include Premier Roofing, AVODA, and Kapella, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Colorado's active hail season and steady Front Range construction pipeline mean these and other employers maintain ongoing roofing crews rather than hiring only seasonally.
Which Colorado cities have the most roofing jobs?
The cities with the most roofing openings in Colorado are Denver, Centennial, and Fort Collins. Denver and its surrounding suburbs drive the largest share of demand because of the metro's density of both commercial development and single-family residential neighborhoods, while Colorado Springs and Fort Collins support steady workloads tied to military installations, university growth, and expanding housing.
Are there remote roofing jobs in Colorado?
Yes, but they're rare. About 38% of roofing openings tied to Colorado are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting the hands-on, on-site nature of most roofing work. The roles most likely to have any remote component are estimating, project management, or inspection positions where report writing and customer communication can be done off-site.
How can I get hired as a roofing in Colorado with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying directly to roofing labor or helper positions with large commercial contractors or storm restoration companies along the Front Range, where turnover creates consistent openings for candidates willing to start on a crew. The United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers Local 58 in Denver runs a registered apprenticeship program that combines on-the-job training with classroom instruction, making it one of the clearest structured paths in Colorado. Earning an OSHA 10 card before applying gives candidates a concrete edge over others with no credentials.
Where can I find and apply to roofing jobs in Colorado?
You can find and apply to roofing jobs in Colorado on Migrate Mate, which lists current Colorado openings updated regularly. Search the listings, find the roles that match your experience and location, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
