- Perform roofing and related job-site work and repairs while remaining hands-on in the field
- Supervise staff and subcontractors and coordinate daily job-site workflow
- Delegate work based on job priorities and help ensure projects stay on schedule
- Monitor job progress and communicate regularly with the Production Manager
- Resolve job-site issues and identify practical solutions to keep work moving
- Maintain a safe, productive, and organized work environment
- Train and support field staff on proper equipment operation and safety procedures
- Maintain work orders, job notes, reports, and other required documentation
- Organize, stock, and monitor shop inventory, tools, equipment, and premises
- Ensure work is performed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, subcontractors, and the Production Manager
- Conduct final job-site walk-throughs and help ensure completed work meets O’LYN standards
- 5+ years of experience in roofing or residential construction
- 2+ years of experience as a roofing foreman, crew lead, field supervisor, or in a similar supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of roofing materials, products, systems, tools, and installation practices
- Experience supervising crews and/or subcontractors and coordinating job-site workflow
- Ability to identify problems, make sound decisions, and resolve issues in the field
- Organized and dependable with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Comfortable working independently while coordinating closely with the Production Manager and field teams
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to successfully pass a background check
- Ability to work on ladders and roofs, lift up to 75 lbs., and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- $27–$35/hour based on experience
