BCM One is excited to add a Sales Engineer to our growing Enterprise Sales team, where collaboration and partnership are central to how we win. In this role, you’ll work closely with Account Executives and internal stakeholders to support the full sales cycle. You will help uncover customer challenges, shape thoughtful solutions, and translate complex technical concepts into clear, outcome‑driven value. As a trusted technical advisor, you’ll partner with customers and teammates alike to design, position, and demonstrate enterprise‑grade solutions that solve real business problems and move opportunities forward.
Work Locations:
This is a remote position for candidates based in the Central Time zone of the United States. This position must live and be authorized to work in the United States; it is not eligible for relocation or sponsorship.
Hours:
This role generally follows standard business hours, typically between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Central Time, with flexibility to support customer and business needs.
Travel:
Approximately 25% of the time annually.
What You Will Do:
- Partner with our Enterprise sales team throughout the full sales cycle, from discovery through close.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert during customer meetings, presentations, and solution discussions.
- Lead technical discovery to understand customer requirements, infrastructure, and business objectives.
- Design and propose solutions that align customer needs with our enterprise offerings.
- Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution overviews to varied stakeholder groups.
- Liaise with sales to respond to technical questions, RFPs, and security or architecture reviews as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams (product, engineering, implementation) to validate solution feasibility.
- Support proof-of-concept efforts and pre-sales validation when required.
What You Will Need:
- At least 3 years of experience in a customer facing, technical pre-sales position.
- Strong understanding of enterprise telecommunications technology solutions and complex sales environments; SME with SIP, VoIP, UCaaS, CCaaS, etc.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, business-oriented messaging for a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience working directly with sales teams in a client-facing capacity.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfort engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
