Who's Hiring

Sales Jobs in Knoxville: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a sales job in Knoxville?
The strongest hiring comes from Knoxville's healthcare systems, regional logistics companies, home improvement and construction suppliers, and the growing technology sector anchored around the University of Tennessee research corridor. Jobs concentrate in Turkey Creek, the downtown core, and the Bearden and West Knoxville commercial zones. Candidates who know the local market, can reference regional accounts or clients, and hold relevant industry certifications tend to stand out with Knoxville employers.
Which companies hire saless in Knoxville?
Employers hiring saless in Knoxville right now include Fortinet, uBreakiFix, and World Market, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Knoxville's mix of regional healthcare networks, distribution and logistics firms, and a growing base of technology and energy companies means steady, diverse demand across experience levels.
Are there remote sales jobs in Knoxville?
Yes, though availability depends heavily on the role, since territory-based and field sales positions typically require in-person client contact while inside sales and account management roles are far more remote-friendly. About 0% of sales openings tied to Knoxville are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting broader flexibility in desk-based roles. Inside sales and SaaS account management positions are the most likely to offer fully remote arrangements for Knoxville-area candidates.
How can I get a sales job in Knoxville with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Knoxville is through retail or inside sales roles with the city's home improvement, consumer electronics, and regional home services companies, which routinely hire without prior professional sales experience. Healthcare device and pharmaceutical distributors based in West Knoxville also run structured entry-level programs. Familiarity with Knoxville's neighborhoods and local business community, combined with a willingness to work commission-based roles early, gives candidates a practical edge over out-of-market applicants.
