Sales Manager Jobs in Seattle: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a sales manager job in Seattle?
The strongest path into a sales manager role in Seattle is through the city's technology and healthcare sectors, where hiring is most active. Companies in South Lake Union, the Central Business District, and the Eastside corridor prioritize candidates with B2B or enterprise sales experience and a history of hitting quota. Familiarity with SaaS, medical devices, or logistics solutions gives candidates a clear edge in Seattle's market.
Which companies hire sales managers in Seattle?
Employers hiring sales managers in Seattle right now include MNH ROOFING SERVICES, ADP, and Optum, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Seattle's hiring base runs from publicly traded technology firms to regional healthcare systems and fast-growing e-commerce companies, giving candidates a range of industry environments to choose from.
Are there remote sales manager jobs in Seattle?
Yes, though remote availability depends heavily on the industry. About 62% of sales manager openings tied to Seattle are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, with the highest share in SaaS and software where pipeline management and client relationships are handled digitally. Roles tied to field sales, retail, or physical territory management typically require on-site presence.
How can I get a sales manager job in Seattle with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point in Seattle is moving up from a senior account executive or team lead role at a local technology or healthcare company. Many Seattle-area SaaS firms promote high-performing individual contributors into first-time people-manager positions rather than hiring externally. Building experience managing a small book of business, mentoring junior reps, or leading a sales pod at a startup puts you in a strong position for that first manager title.
Which industries hire the most sales managers in Seattle?
Most sales manager openings in Seattle sit in Medical Devices and Distribution & Wholesale, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Seattle's concentration of cloud software companies, regional healthcare networks, and major logistics and e-commerce operations makes these sectors the consistent drivers of local sales leadership demand.
