SUMMARY: Sales Advisor’s utilize their superior customer service skills and extensive knowledge of our products (devices & e-liquid) to assist our customers in identifying the best product(s) to meet their vaping needs. Sales Advisor’s educate our customers regarding the benefits of vaping and assist our customers in transitioning from traditional tobacco products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Welcome and greet customers. Provide a superior customer service experience through demonstrated product knowledge and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Continually learn about products to provide accurate information to customers about features, pricing, and return policies. Answer customer questions, recommend products and address customer concerns or issues.
- Educate and enroll customers into our rewards program.
- Effectively utilize the point-of-sale system to capture inventory sold and discounts applied. Process merchandise returns per company policies.
- Participate in stocking and inventorying products and supplies.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the store (grand open ready) to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Actively engage in marketing initiatives including activities such as signage displays and waving, distributing coupons, flyers, pamphlets, and informing customers of promotional offers.
- May perform other duties as assigned and/or required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 1 year of sales and/or customer service experience preferred.
- Experience and/or usage of vapor products preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Demonstrates the ability to quickly learn about products and effectively communicate features and/or benefits of these products.
- Exhibits superior communication skills to listen to a customer’s needs to identify and recommend appropriate products and effectively address customers’ questions and concerns.
- Demonstrates the ability to work as a part of a team with a desire to grow and improve performance through feedback and coaching.
PHYSICAL / ENVIRONMENTAL:
- Good vision is expected for proficient reading of information in print and electronically.
- Must have the ability to stand, walk, and move around the store for up to 100% of workday.
- Occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and stooping.
- Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
