Warby Parker was founded with a mission: to inspire and impact the world with vision, purpose, and style.
We're constantly asking ourselves how we can do more and make a greater impact, and that starts by reimagining everything that a company and industry can be. We want to demonstrate that a business can scale while doing good in the world, without charging a premium for it. And we’ve learned that it takes creativity, empathy, and innovation to achieve that goal.
Since the day we launched in 2010, we’ve pioneered ideas, designed products, and developed technologies that help people see. We offer everything you need for happier eyes at a price that leaves you with money in your pocket, from designer-quality glasses and contacts to eye exams and vision tests, and you can meet us online, at our stores, or even in your home. Wherever and whenever you need it, we’re there to make exceptional vision care simple and accessible. (Delightful, too.)
Ultimately, we believe in vision for all, which is why for every pair of glasses or sunglasses we sell, a pair of glasses is distributed to someone in need through our Buy a Pair, Give a Pair program.

Sales Advisor Jobs in California: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a sales advisor in California?
Most sales advisor roles in California require at minimum a high school diploma, though a bachelor's degree in business or marketing improves competitiveness for corporate and financial roles. Advisors selling insurance or securities must obtain the appropriate California Department of Insurance license or FINRA-administered Series license before advising clients. Candidates without a license typically start in general retail or inside sales roles and pursue credentials once employed.
How much do sales advisors make in California?
Sales advisors in California earn a median of about $38,440 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $35,240 for the lowest 10% to over $54,310 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire sales advisors in California?
Employers hiring sales advisors in California right now include Bank of America, JPMorganChase, and CHANEL, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. California's concentration of technology headquarters, major financial institutions, and large automotive dealership groups makes it one of the broadest states for sales advisor openings across industries.
Which California cities have the most sales advisor jobs?
Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Jose have the most sales advisor openings in California right now. Los Angeles drives volume through its large retail, entertainment, and financial services base, San Francisco and San Jose reflect the region's technology and wealth-management sectors, and San Diego's defense contractors and biotech firms generate steady demand for specialized advisory roles.
Are there remote sales advisor jobs in California?
Yes, and they're more common than in many sales roles because technology and financial services firms in California have embraced distributed teams for inside and digital sales functions. About 2% of sales advisor openings tied to California are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, concentrated among SaaS companies and fintech firms headquartered in the Bay Area. Client-facing roles in automotive, luxury retail, and real estate remain predominantly on-site.
How can I get hired as a sales advisor in California with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through retail associate or customer service roles at large California employers such as Apple Retail, Wells Fargo branch locations, or Toyota dealerships, which run structured new-hire training programs that transition candidates into advisory roles. Completing a California community college certificate in business or sales fundamentals, or obtaining a California insurance pre-licensing course certificate, signals commitment and gives candidates an edge over those with no credentials at all.
Where can I find and apply to sales advisor jobs in California?
You can find and apply to sales advisor jobs in California on Migrate Mate, which lists current California openings updated regularly. Search the listings, find roles that match your experience and location, and apply directly to each employer through the listing.
