Entry Level Sales Professional Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level sales professional job?
Focus on demonstrating coachability, communication skills, and any hands-on experience you have, whether from internships, campus sales roles, or customer-facing retail work. Tailoring your resume to highlight quota attainment, lead generation projects, or cold-outreach practice gives you an edge. Many entry level postings also value a genuine interest in the industry over a polished resume.
Which companies hire entry level sales professionals?
Companies hiring entry level sales professionals right now include Viatris, North, and Service Corporation International, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. At this level, you will find a mix of fast-growing startups building out their first sales teams and established organizations with structured onboarding programs designed for junior talent.
Are there remote entry level sales professional jobs?
Yes, though most openings at this level lean on-site for training purposes. About 57% of entry level sales professional openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, concentrated in software, insurance, and financial services sectors where tools-based selling translates well to distributed teams.
Are these new grad sales professional jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior sales professional roles. A new grad-friendly posting typically welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internship work or a portfolio of sales projects in place of full-time history, and often includes structured onboarding or mentorship to help candidates ramp quickly.
Which industries hire the most entry level sales professionals?
Entry Level sales professional roles concentrate in Biotechnology & Pharmaceuticals, Automotive, and Technology & Software, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors tend to have high sales headcount needs and shorter ramp cycles, making them more willing to invest in developing junior candidates rather than requiring prior industry experience.
