Sales / Kitchen Designer
A Kitchen Sales Designer creates functional, beautiful kitchens for clients, blending sales with design by meeting customer needs, creating plans with 2D/3D selecting materials (cabinets, countertops, appliances), managing budgets, and ensuring projects meet sales goals while overseeing installation quality and maintaining strong client relationships from initial contact to post-project follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their vision, lifestyle, budget, and project requirements.
- Design & Planning: Develop detailed layouts, 2D/3D plans, and specifications using design software.
- Product Selection: Guide clients in choosing cabinets, finishes, appliances, lighting, and fixtures.
- Sales & Quoting: Provide estimates, negotiate pricing, process sales, and meet monthly targets.
- Project Management: Liaise with contractors, track progress, and ensure quality installation.
- Customer Service: Maintain relationships, offer expert advice, and provide post-installation support.
- Market Knowledge: Stay updated on trends, products, and competitor activities.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree from 4-year college or university in Interior Design or Architecture. A minimum of 5 -10 years’ experience.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D rendering or similar.
- Sales Acumen: Ability to close deals and achieve sales goals.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and active listening skills.
- Organizational Skills: Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with building codes, materials, and installation processes.
- Creativity: A keen eye for design and aesthetics.
