This role involves auditing, addressing non-compliance, and facilitating the migration of environments to meet security standards. The manager also evaluates security applications, participates in IT project planning, and recommends improvements to strengthen security measures.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage the development and delivery of IT security standards and best practices.</li>
<li>Implement processes and methods for auditing and ensuring compliance with information security standards.</li>
<li>Facilitate the migration of non-compliant environments to compliant environments.</li>
<li>Conduct studies within and outside the organization to ensure compliance with industry security norms.</li>
<li>Manage and participate in security administration planning and implementation for all IT projects.</li>
<li>Evaluate and select security applications and systems.</li>
<li>Recommend and assist in implementing changes to work methods and procedures to enhance security measures.</li>
<li>Ensure the protection of corporate intellectual capital, especially where databases/applications are accessed by customers or vendors.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Required Skills:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.</li>
<li>Minimum of 7 years of IT work experience with exposure to business planning, systems analysis, and applications development.</li>
<li>Experience in managing teams and projects for information security management.</li>
<li>Middle-level management experience, working under the general direction of senior management.</li>
<li>Experience managing and mentoring supervisors, project leads, and technical staff.</li>
<li>Proven ability to lead multiple complex projects as a project leader and subject matter expert.</li>
<li>Frequently reports to senior positions such as Corporate Security Officer, Chief Information Security Officer, Chief Technology Officer, or IT Chief Operating Officer.</li>
