Please review the following job description:
We are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Lead to drive internal IAM initiatives with a strong emphasis on execution, role engineering, access governance and cross-functional collaboration. This role will participate in the design and implementation of IAM capabilities. They will lead business partners through continuous improvements across the organization while partnering closely with Security, Infrastructure, Application Owners, HR, Compliance and Audit teams.
The ideal candidate combines strong understanding of IAM governance principles, technical expertise and leadership abilities. Candidate should have the ability to translate business requirements into scalable access management solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead internal projects from planning through implementation
- Manage multiple concurrent IAM initiatives including:
- Role-based access control (RBAC)
- Identity governance
- Privileged access improvements
- Reporting metrics
- Coordinate activities across teams
- Assist with standardizing and optimizing access models
- Support governance processes
- Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiencies
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Two or more years of experience working within an enterprise Information/Cyber Security setting, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge in information systems and ability to apply that knowledge in practice
- Experience participating in IT projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years in Identity and Access Management
- 2+ years leading IAM initiatives
- Experience with one or more IAM platforms such as:
- Oracle Identity Manager
- Sailpoint
- CyberArk
- Service Now
- Strong understanding of:
- RBAC
- Access governance
- Identity lifecycle management
