The Works Home Services – Louisville & Southern Indiana
We’re looking for a creative, energetic Content Manager / Videographer to help tell the story of our growing home-service companies.
This is NOT a sit-behind-a-desk-all-day social media position.
We need someone who wants to get out in the field, follow our crews, capture transformations, interview team members, shoot great photos and video, and turn everyday work into content people actually want to watch.
Our companies provide lawn care, landscaping, fencing, and professional Christmas light installation throughout Louisville and Southern Indiana. There is always something happening—and we want someone who can capture it.
What You'll Do
- Visit job sites and capture photo and video content
- Create short-form videos and Reels for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms
- Film before-and-after transformations
- Capture behind-the-scenes footage of our crews and company
- Interview employees, customers, and leadership
- Edit engaging short-form videos
- Take high-quality project and team photos
- Help develop creative ideas, hooks, trends, and content series
- Maintain a consistent posting/content schedule
- Organize our photo and video library
- Help build the personalities and stories behind our brands
- Occasionally create longer-form videos for YouTube and company marketing
Who We're Looking For
You don't necessarily need a fancy degree. We care much more about what you can create.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience shooting and editing video
- Understands Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and modern social content
- Knows how to grab attention in the first few seconds of a video
- Can turn ordinary moments into interesting stories
- Is comfortable approaching people and directing them on camera
- Has a good eye for photography and composition
- Can work independently without needing constant direction
- Is organized, dependable, and willing to move quickly
- Isn't afraid to get outside, walk job sites, and occasionally get a little dirty
Experience with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Photoshop, Lightroom, or Canva is a plus.
The Right Person
We're looking for more than someone who can simply "post on social media."
We want a storyteller.
Someone who can look at a fence installation, landscape transformation, lawn-care crew, or Christmas light installation and immediately start thinking:
"There's a great video here."
