Job Description
The Latino Research Center (LRC) at the University of Nevada, Reno is seeking to hire a Student Worker. This student worker will be responsible for posting on social media platforms, as well as the design of flyers, and social media posts regarding events led by or supported by the Latino Research Center. The student will also monitor performance metrics and respond to comments and questions according to the Center strategies and guidelines, alongside the University of Nevada, Reno policies and regulations. The LRC student worker will support areas of need for the Director, Program Coordinator, and Administrative Assistant, including attendance of team meetings (as available).
Responsibilities
- Revise, update, and maintain website requests to MarCom
- Revise, update, and maintain LRC Instagram account
- Revise, update, and maintain Facebook LRC account
- Explore additional media platforms for potential use
- Support LRC and related partnership initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Candidate must be enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno
- Candidate must have proven skills in use of social media
- Candidate must be proficient on Social Media Management
- Candidate must be knowledgeable on marketing strategies for outreach increase
Preferred Qualifications
- Candidate who are bilingual skills (English/Spanish) speaking and writing are encouraged to apply.
