Solutions Consultant Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a solutions consultant in Georgia?
Most solutions consultant roles in Georgia require a bachelor's degree in business, information technology, computer science, or a related field, followed by experience in a client-facing or technical role. Georgia does not issue a state license for solutions consultants, so hiring decisions center on demonstrated pre-sales or account management experience, product knowledge, and industry certifications such as Salesforce, AWS, or Google Cloud credentials that signal technical credibility to employers.
Which companies hire solutions consultants in Georgia?
Employers hiring solutions consultants in Georgia right now include Deposco, NTT DATA, and Honeywell, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Georgia's dense concentration of fintech, healthcare IT, and enterprise software companies in the Atlanta metro means consistent demand across both large technology firms and high-growth regional companies.
Which Georgia cities have the most solutions consultant jobs?
The cities with the most solutions consultant openings in Georgia are Atlanta, Georgia, and Alpharetta. Atlanta drives the majority of demand as the Southeast's largest technology and financial services hub, while Alpharetta's technology corridor, often called Georgia's Silicon Valley, attracts enterprise software and cybersecurity companies that rely heavily on pre-sales and solutions roles.
Are there remote solutions consultant jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 67% of solutions consultant openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how naturally this desk-based, presentation-driven role translates to distributed work. Discovery calls, product demos, and proposal development are the functions most commonly performed fully remotely, while on-site work tends to be reserved for major enterprise evaluations or client kickoffs.
How can I get hired as a solutions consultant in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving laterally from a sales development, customer success, or technical support role at one of Georgia's large enterprise software or fintech employers, where internal transfers into solutions consulting are common. Companies like NCR Voyix and Fiserv run structured associate programs and rotational tracks that place candidates without pre-sales backgrounds into solutions roles with mentorship. Earning a Salesforce Administrator or AWS Cloud Practitioner certification before applying strengthens a resume considerably for Georgia employers screening entry-level candidates.
Where can I find and apply to solutions consultant jobs in Georgia?
You can find and apply to solutions consultant jobs in Georgia on Migrate Mate, which lists current Georgia openings across Atlanta, Alpharetta, and other hiring markets in the state. Find roles that fit your experience and apply directly from each listing.
