As a Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer at Loyola Medicine, you play a vital role in supporting high‑risk pregnancies through advanced diagnostic imaging and compassionate patient care. Here, your expertise directly contributes to healthier outcomes for mothers and babies.
About the Role
Under the general supervision of the Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) attending physician, and in accordance with department protocols, the MFM Sonographer performs advanced obstetric ultrasound examinations using high‑frequency sound waves and related diagnostic techniques. This role is responsible for producing, analyzing, and documenting high‑quality images and data to support the physician in diagnosing fetal and maternal conditions—ensuring accurate results and exceptional patient care.
What you’ll need
- 1 year of previous related job‑related experience required
- Associate degree or equivalent training acquired via work experience or education required - AMA approved Sonography program preferred
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) required
- Credentialing in specialty OB preferred
- CPR/BLS - American Heart Association
- New graduates - obtain certification within 3 months of hire date

Compensation:
Pay Range: $34.48 - $59.92 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
