About the Position
Valley Speech Pathology is a therapist-owned company seeking a full-time, in-person Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support school-based Life Skills Programs in Eugene and Springfield, Oregon.
This position involves providing speech-language services to students with diverse communication needs in a supportive, collaborative educational environment.
We welcome experienced SLPs as well as strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates.

Position Details
- Full-time schedule: 40 hours per week
- In-person position in Eugene/Springfield, Oregon
- School-based Life Skills Programs
- Contract through June 16, 2027

Responsibilities
- Provide individualized speech-language therapy to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Support students with diverse communication needs, including those requiring augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and complete evaluation reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
- Develop and implement functional communication goals that support student participation and independence
- Complete IEP documentation, eligibility reports, and other case management responsibilities
- Coordinate service delivery to ensure students receive consistent, high-quality services
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Oregon Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Experience working with students with complex communication needs or in Life Skills Programs preferred
- Familiarity with AAC and functional communication interventions preferred
- Strong understanding of IEPs, evaluations, and school-based compliance
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
