Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist to join our team.

Experience in a 503A or 503B sterile compounding pharmacy a, with a strong understanding of aseptic technique, USP compounding standards, and operations is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify prescription orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and completeness prior to compounding
• Perform final verification of finished sterile products, including visual inspection for particulate matter, fill volume accuracy, and container integrity
• Review, verify, and approve master formulation records and compounded sterile preparations for accuracy and compliance
• Conduct quality control checks throughout the compounding process to ensure adherence to specifications and standards
• Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies, out-of-specification results, or quality issues
• Ensure compliance with USP <797> standards for sterile compounding
• Review and approve batch records, compounding logs, and production documentation
• Perform pharmaceutical calculations and verify technician calculations for accuracy
• Oversee and support pharmacy technicians in the sterile compounding process, ensuring proper aseptic technique and adherence to SOPs
• Collaborate with quality assurance, operations, and other departments to maintain efficient, compliant production workflow
• Provide training, mentorship, and competency assessment for pharmacy technicians
• Communicate with prescribers as needed to clarify or resolve order-related questions
• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license (RPh) in good standing; PharmD preferred
• Prior experience in sterile compounding/cleanroom pharmacy required (503A or 503B setting)
• Strong knowledge of USP <795>, <797>, and <800> standards
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform and verify pharmaceutical calculations accurately
• Strong quality control and verification skills, with a focus on catching errors before dispensing
• Strong leadership and communication skills for coordinating with technicians and cross-functional teams
• Commitment to patient safety, regulatory compliance, and product quality

Skills & Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license (RPh) in good standing.
• Prior experience in sterile compounding/cleanroom pharmacy required (503A or 503B setting) a plus

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour

License/Certification:

• Licensed Pharmacist (Required)
