Join our Finance Development Program (FDP) at Uber which is especially geared toward recent graduates who have a passion for learning all aspects of Finance business partnership and financial planning and analysis.
Uber's Finance team is uniquely positioned to have transparency into Uber's overall global business and to use financial & operational data to reach insights others might not be able to make. This organization is responsible for working closely with cross-functional teams to support financial planning, tracking key financial metrics, driving efficiency, and making product and business recommendations.
FDP will allow you to jumpstart your Finance career in a truly global company by building your network and learning from seasoned finance and business leaders. You will be driving and supporting our company-wide financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis efforts that touch every single area of the business. Your work and the insights you create will drive real time business decisions and help Uber to continue to grow, scale and become more profitable, while also creating more opportunities for the many thousands of couriers, restaurants and drivers that use our platform daily.
The FDP is a two-year rotational program providing a breadth of core financial and analytical skills as well as interpersonal and stakeholder management skills that will serve as an excellent foundation for a career in finance and strategic business partnering at Uber. This position is based in our San Francisco headquarters and includes exposure to four areas of our business.

What You'll Do
- Financial Planning: be part of the team that is responsible for financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for Uber's global business
- Strategic Thinking: Apply business judgment and financial insights to assist with decision making related to new initiatives, products, and business opportunities
- Financial Modeling: Build intricate financial models from scratch, improve existing models, and break complex models down into component parts
- Operational Excellence: Lead initiatives that help us scale from startup to enterprise
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, completed by the program start date (anticipated graduation in Winter 2026 or Spring 2027).
- Basic knowledge of GAAP and experience with Excel
- Minimum 1 year of involvement in extracurricular groups, activities, or internship opportunities
- Prior analytical internship experience including FP&A, investment banking, management consulting, private equity or operations management
- Currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. Uber does not intend to sponsor work visas with respect to this position
- Leadership positions in any extracurricular activities
- Proven understanding of GAAP, enterprise-level financial planning systems, SQL, and/or statistical software packages
- Outstanding analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to structure effective presentations
- Attention to detail and ability to implement tasks in a fast paced environment
- Self-starter - you take initiative, set goals, and meet them
- AI readiness: Comfortable using AI-enabled tools, with curiosity and a willingness to learn, experiment, and incorporate new AI capabilities into your work.

Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Uber's cultural identity. Unless formally approved to work fully remotely, Uber expects employees to spend at least half of their work time in their assigned office. For certain roles, such as those based at green-light hubs, employees are expected to be in-office for 100% of their time. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $91,000 per year - USD $96,000 per year.
You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
