Building proficiency in SQL and financial modeling, along with earning credentials such as the Certified Pricing Professional designation, strengthens a candidate's profile in California's competitive market.
Which companies hire pricing analysts in California?

California's concentration of technology companies, healthcare systems, and media conglomerates means pricing analyst roles appear across a wide range of industries and company sizes throughout the state.
Which California cities have the most pricing analyst jobs?
San Francisco, San Jose, and Dublin have the most pricing analyst openings in California. Los Angeles draws demand from entertainment, retail, and healthcare headquarters, San Francisco and the broader Bay Area are driven by technology and SaaS companies, and San Diego's biotech and defense sectors add consistent demand for analysts with specialized cost and contract pricing experience.
