Pricing Analyst Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a pricing analyst in Florida?
Most pricing analyst roles in Florida require a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a quantitative field such as statistics or mathematics. Florida does not require a state-issued license for pricing analysts. Employers in insurance pricing often value candidates familiar with Florida's regulated insurance market, and earning a Certified Pricing Professional designation strengthens applications in any industry. Internships with Florida-based insurance carriers, hospitality companies, or retailers provide the most direct entry path.
Which companies hire pricing analysts in Florida?
Employers hiring pricing analysts in Florida right now include FIS, SIXT, and VetsEZ, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Florida's concentration of insurance carriers, national restaurant chains, and large healthcare systems creates consistent demand for pricing analysts across multiple industries in the state.
Which Florida cities have the most pricing analyst jobs?
Miami, Tampa, and Boca Raton have the most pricing analyst openings in Florida. Miami drives demand through its large insurance, financial services, and consumer goods sectors, while Tampa's growing tech and healthcare industries add significant volume, and Orlando's hospitality giants such as Universal Parks and Resorts and major hotel groups generate consistent revenue management and pricing roles.
Are there remote pricing analyst jobs in Florida?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 63% of pricing analyst openings tied to Florida are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how data-driven and desk-based the work is by nature. Roles focused on data modeling, competitive analysis, and pricing strategy reporting are most commonly offered with remote or hybrid flexibility by Florida employers.
How can I get hired as a pricing analyst in Florida with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a junior pricing analyst or pricing coordinator role, which Florida's large insurance carriers and hospitality companies regularly post for new graduates. Florida Blue, Darden Restaurants, and major Orlando-area resort operators run structured rotational or associate programs that accept candidates with no direct pricing experience. Adjacent roles such as financial analyst, business analyst, or revenue audit associate provide a strong lateral transition, and completing an Excel or SQL certification gives early-career applicants a measurable edge.
