Job Description

AECOM Technical Services Inc. is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Chelmsford, MA:

Responsibilities

• Plan and design new structures and existing structure rehabilitations
• Develop load rating tools for complex cable stayed structures
• Perform calculations and create detailed engineering plans for new and existing structures
• Evaluate existing structures for safety, damage, and compliance, recommending necessary repairs
• Conduct site investigations and risk assessments to determine project viability and optimal design solutions
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and quality control during both design and construction phases
• Train, guide, and mentor junior engineers and technical staff to build team capabilities

Qualifications

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field of study and 10 years of experience as a Structural Engineer or in a related occupation.

Position requires experience in the following:

• Advanced FEA analysis and design, proficiency
• Structural analysis software
• Code designing and testing
• Concrete Superstructure Design
• Steel Superstructure Design
• Substructure Design
• Foundation Design
• Bridge Rating
