WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As a member of the Atlanta Recruiting team, the Recruiting Coordinator will provide support to the administration of the recruiting programs for consulting staff. The Recruiting Coordinator will assist in the planning and execution of all Atlanta Summer Associate (SA), Consultant (CON), and Industry Hire recruiting efforts.
The role reports to Senior Manager, Recruiting and partners closely with consulting staff, recruiting colleagues across Bain offices, candidates, school career services teams, and Bain alumni.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
The Coordinator, Consultant Recruiting is a member of the Atlanta Recruiting team and is responsible for supporting consultant recruiting programs, candidate experience, interview processes, internship programs, industry hiring efforts, recruiting operations, and onboarding activities.
This role plays a key part in executing Bain’s consultant recruiting strategy by partnering with local and global recruiting teams, managing candidate pipelines, coordinating recruiting events, supporting recruiting programs, and helping shape local recruiting processes and innovations.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Consultant Recruiting Program Management:
- Manage the execution of Bain’s marketing strategy across targeted business schools; coordinate the on-campus representatives, schedule formal and informal presentations, receptions, and dinners and act as a key contact for Bain alumni on-campus.
- Work closely with other global recruiting coordinators to plan coverage for joint marketing and interviewing events, address regional changes/strategies, and share best practices.
- Assist with the candidate selection process. Provide consulting staff with materials and guidance for the resume review, compile inputs and recommendations, help Recruiting Manager finalize interview decisions, and input final decisions in the recruiting system (Avature).
- Responsible for scheduling and coordinating Atlanta interviews, including updating our recruiting system, communicating with students and interviewers, preparing debrief materials, managing call back process, and supporting the closing process.
- Provide exceptional and timely responses, interactions and overall experience to recruits and excellent support and timely responses to consulting staff involved in recruiting process (e.g., providing interview training, setting interviewer schedules, managing commitments, communicating logistics, etc.).
Offeree and Internship Program Support:
- Assist in the planning and execution of various elements of the Consultant/Summer Associate offeree weekends. Help organize the logistics for and attend events, interact with offerees, and ensure all offeree activities run smoothly.
- Help with aspects of the Summer Associate intern program in Atlanta as needed.
Industry Recruiting Management:
- Manage the logistics for our Atlanta industry recruiting hiring process, including securing interviewers, scheduling candidates, preparing debrief materials, managing call back process and offer communication, as well as supporting the closing process.
Recruiting Program Ownership:
- Manage the recruiting process and program logistics for our week-long Advanced Degree internship program (Advantage) including candidate selection, coordinating trainings, assigning buddies and mentors, planning and attending social events, assisting with staffing, coordinating final presentations, and helping to support the closing process.
- Manage the recruiting process and program logistics for our week-long pre-MBA diversity internship program (BASE) including candidate selection, coordinating trainings, assigning buddies and mentors, planning and attending social events, assisting with staffing, coordinating final presentations, and helping to support the closing process.
Recruiting Strategy and Analytics:
- Help evaluate success of recruiting season; prepare and analyze statistics on overall recruiting success, results by school, source, etc. and use findings to provide input into recruiting programs and strategy.
- Work with the Senior Manager to shape the recruiting strategy by identifying and owning innovations to the local process.
School Recruiting and Candidate Relationship Management:
- Manage the on-campus and in-office recruiting efforts for our local school.
- Support the creation of marketing strategies. Coordinate school team members, organize and attend recruiting events (virtual and live) which mostly includes happy hours and dinner. Act as liaison between school career services offices and Bain.
- Support relationship management process, focusing on identification of priority recruits and facilitating connections with Bain employees during the full recruiting cycle.
- Oversee communication and correspondence with candidates throughout the year. Maintain incoming inquiries, applications, and generate appropriate responses in a timely manner.
Recruiting Operations and Budget Management:
- Help manage Consultant recruiting budgets; plan and execute events according to budget; help Recruiting Manager track department expenses, flag issues, and conduct special budget projects as needed.
- Own the updating of recruit tracking system (Avature) for data entry, event management and reporting in a timely and accurate manner for all Consultant recruiting.
Onboarding and Administrative Support:
- Work with the Atlanta HR team to manage the new hire onboarding process, including but not limited to: new hire paperwork, staffing prep materials, selection and distribution of colleagues, start dates, etc.
- Perform other administrative duties as requested or as responsibilities dictate.
ABOUT YOU
Experience:
- 1-2+ years of administrative and/or recruiting support experience, preferably in a professional services firm, or combination of educational and work experience.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Outstanding interpersonal, written/verbal communication, customer service and organizational skills.
- Proficient project management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize a multitude of demanding tasks.
- Comfort interacting with prospective candidates, school contacts, and Bainies of varying tenure.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong customer service focus and great attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS and database skills.
- Flexibility with hours; ability to work overtime and evenings as needed.
U.S. COMPENSATION INFORMATION
Compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, 401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution based on years of service and Bain’s best in class benefits package (details listed below).
Some local governments in the United States require a good-faith, reasonable salary range to be included in job postings for open roles. The estimated annualized compensation for this role is as follows:
- In Georgia, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between $53,000 - $63,000.
Annual discretionary performance bonus
This role may also be eligible for other elements of discretionary compensation
4.5% 401(k) company contribution, which increases after 3 years of service and is 100% vested upon start date
