About the Role at RobCo
RobCo is building the category of Autonomous Industrial Robotics and we're doing it fast. We believe that automating the ordinary frees humans to do the extraordinary, and we're building the end-to-end robotics infrastructure to make that possible - hardware, software, and AI in one stack that just works.
To achieve this, we are looking for an ambitious (Senior) Talent Acquisition Partner based in Austin, TX, to help us establish RobCo as leading provider of automation solutions.
Your Responsibilities
Act as a strategic hiring partner to senior and executive stakeholders, translating business and headcount plans into concrete hiring strategies
Own our most complex and business-critical searches end to end, including leadership and niche technical roles, from role definition through offer negotiation and closing
Build and lead sourcing strategies for hard-to-reach talent markets, using market mapping and competitor insight to open pipelines where none exist yet
Help set the standard for how we assess talent: design structured interview processes, scorecards, and selection frameworks, and coach hiring managers to apply them consistently
Strong knowledge of US recruiting practices and employment considerations, including compliant interviewing, candidate selection, offer processes, and multi-state hiring.
Own recruiting data and reporting for your areas, using funnel metrics and conversion insights to diagnose bottlenecks and drive decisions with hiring managers and leadership
Mentor junior recruiters and act as a point of escalation, sharing sourcing craft, stakeholder management, and closing techniques across the team
Drive improvements to our recruiting operations, from workflows in our ATS to process documentation that scales with headcount growth, to creative ways to automate manual work
Shape employer branding and talent pool strategy, building long-term relationships with senior talent and positioning RobCo across creative recruiting channels
We're looking for someone who has:
Completed degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Human Resources Management, or a comparable qualification
5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, ideally in-house at a fast-growing tech or engineering company, including ownership of leadership or hard-to-fill technical searches
A proven track record of filling complex roles through proactive sourcing, not inbound applications, with the market knowledge to map and open new talent pools
Deep credibility with senior stakeholders: comfortable challenging profiles, pushing back on unrealistic briefs, and holding hiring managers to a structured process
Strong command of structured assessment, from designing scorecards and interview loops to calibrating and coaching interviewers
Fluency with recruiting data and ATS workflows, using funnel metrics to diagnose problems and propose solutions
Experience mentoring or coaching less experienced recruiters
Structured, organized working style with a high level of ownership and reliability

Talent Acquisition Partner Jobs in Austin: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a talent acquisition partner job in Austin?
Focus your search on Austin's technology corridor in the Domain and North Austin, where high-growth software and SaaS companies staff dedicated recruiting teams, and on the healthcare systems anchored in the South Congress and medical district areas. Candidates who bring hands-on experience with high-volume technical sourcing, familiarity with Austin's competitive engineering talent market, and a network built through local HR or recruiting meetups consistently stand out over generalist applicants.
Which companies hire talent acquisition partners in Austin?
Employers hiring talent acquisition partners in Austin right now include Icon, Hut 8, and Robco, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Austin's mix of enterprise technology firms, fast-scaling startups, large healthcare systems, and financial services companies means openings range from high-volume technical recruiting roles to strategic talent partnership positions supporting corporate functions.
Are there remote talent acquisition partner jobs in Austin?
Yes, though availability depends on the employer type, since talent acquisition partners who support on-site hiring or candidate experience programs tend to work in person while those focused on sourcing, coordination, and employer branding can work remotely. About 100% of talent acquisition partner openings tied to Austin are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, with remote roles most common at Austin's distributed technology companies and SaaS employers.
How can I get a talent acquisition partner job in Austin with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Austin is landing a recruiting coordinator or HR coordinator role at one of the city's many mid-size technology or healthcare employers, where exposure to full-cycle recruiting is built into the job. Austin staffing agencies and recruiting firms in the Domain and downtown areas regularly hire junior sourcers and coordinators who can move into partner roles within one to two years. Completing an SHRM or AIRS certification before applying strengthens your candidacy with Austin employers who prioritize credentialed entry-level hires.
