Focus your search on Durham's three strongest hiring sectors: healthcare systems anchored near Duke University Medical Center, biotech and life sciences labs in Research Triangle Park, and advanced manufacturing facilities along the I-85 corridor. Candidates who hold industry-specific certifications relevant to their specialty and can show hands-on lab or field experience stand out here. Applying directly through employer career pages and staying current on openings in RTP gives you the best foothold in this market.
