Which New York cities have the most technology consultant jobs?
New York, Le Roy, and Fairport have the most technology consultant openings in New York. New York City dominates because of its density of global banks, insurance carriers, and professional services firms that run continuous transformation programs, while cities like White Plains and Albany see consistent demand from regional enterprises and state government agencies that contract external technology expertise.

Yes, and more than most fields. About 82% of technology consultant openings tied to New York are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting the desk-based and advisory nature of the work.
