Purpose of Role
The Events Coordinator supports the Director of Conference Services in planning and executing year-round events on campus. This role coordinates internal and external event logistics and assists with the preparations for small-scale and large-scale campus events. The Events Coordinator ensures smooth operations by communicating with all internal Daemen offices before and during their reservation, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining close attention to detail. Success in this role depends on strong relationship-building, organization, and teamwork.
About This Opportunity
- Manage the planning of all aspects of day-to-day internal events hosted through Daemen University offices and areas.
- Maintain the Reserving Facilities Form for reservation requests and inquiries.
- Build strong working relationships across campus departments (e.g., Academics, Admissions, Alumni, CTE, Facilities, Dining, Housing).
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain attention to detail in all tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree preferred; Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience, with at least 1 year of relevant experience in hospitality and/or event planning.
