Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding TN Visa Sponsorship as a Clinical Manager
Align your credentials to USMCA categories
TN classification for Clinical Managers typically rests on an underlying qualifying profession such as Registered Nurse or Scientist. Confirm your degree and licensure map to a recognized USMCA category before targeting roles, so your application isn't rejected on occupational grounds.
Target health systems with existing TN infrastructure
Multi-site hospital networks and federally qualified health centers routinely sponsor TN professionals and have HR teams familiar with the process. Smaller private practices often don't, and educating them mid-offer adds delays you can avoid by qualifying employers early.
Request a support letter covering management duties
Your employer's TN support letter must describe your Clinical Manager responsibilities in terms that connect to your qualifying USMCA profession. A letter that focuses only on administrative tasks without linking to clinical expertise gives CBP officers grounds to question classification.
Search TN-ready Clinical Manager jobs on Migrate Mate
Migrate Mate filters Clinical Manager openings by TN visa sponsorship availability, so you're not cold-applying to employers unfamiliar with USMCA. Use it to identify roles where the hiring team has already committed to supporting the process.
Prepare for port-of-entry adjudication as a Canadian
Canadian citizens apply for TN status directly with CBP at a U.S. port of entry or pre-clearance location, with no consular appointment required. Bring your job offer letter, credential documents, and proof of Canadian citizenship so the officer can adjudicate on the spot.
Understand Mexican TN processing differs from Canadian
Mexican citizens require a TN visa stamp issued at a U.S. consulate before entering in TN status. Schedule your consular appointment after your employer finalizes the offer letter, since the support documentation must be current and role-specific at the time of your interview.

Find Clinical Manager JobsClinical Manager TN Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Clinical Manager role qualify for TN visa status?
A Clinical Manager can qualify for TN status when the position is tied to a recognized USMCA professional category such as Registered Nurse or a scientific discipline. The role's responsibilities must require that underlying professional credential. Purely administrative management positions without a clinical professional basis are unlikely to meet TN classification requirements.
How does TN visa sponsorship for Clinical Managers compare to H-1B?
TN has no annual lottery and no cap for Canadian citizens, so you aren't subject to the H-1B's random selection process. Canadian applicants can receive TN status the same day at a port of entry, while H-1B petitions require months of USCIS processing. Mexican TN applicants still need consular processing, but approval timelines are generally faster than H-1B adjudication.
What documents does my employer need to provide for my TN application?
Your employer must provide a detailed support letter on company letterhead describing your job title, duties, the specific USMCA professional category you qualify under, your intended start date, and your compensation structure. For Canadian applicants, this letter goes directly to CBP at the port of entry. Mexican applicants submit it as part of their DS-160 consular package.
Where can I find Clinical Manager jobs that already offer TN visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Canadian and Mexican professionals seeking TN-sponsored roles in the U.S. You can search Clinical Manager openings filtered by sponsorship availability, which means you're connecting with employers who already understand the USMCA process rather than spending time educating hiring teams unfamiliar with TN status.
Can I change employers while on TN status as a Clinical Manager?
Yes, but your TN status is tied to your specific employer and role. Changing jobs requires your new employer to support a fresh TN application before you begin work. Canadian professionals can apply at the port of entry with the new employer's documentation, while Mexican citizens need to obtain a new TN visa at a U.S. consulate prior to starting.
