The Opportunity
The Change Activation & AI Education Manager is responsible for driving change management capability building and supporting the activation, adoption and sustained application of AI education across the enterprise. This role ensures that investments in AI education, tools, and leadership capability translate into real behavior change, confident use, and performance impact. This role focuses on how people adopt AI and new ways of working, embedding change, practice, reinforcement, and support into daily work. The role bridges AI education with human skills, leadership, and enterprise capability development to ensure readiness and results.
Guided by our purpose — always with you, building a more confident future — and our New Frontier strategy focused on stronger growth, attractive returns, and all-weather performance, this is an opportunity to ensure AI education at MetLife moves from training to trusted, responsible, and confident use at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the strategy for building enterprise-wide change readiness capabilities, ensuring HR and business leaders are equipped to navigate uncertainty and drive continuous transformation. Oversee the activation and adoption of AI education initiatives, making sure learning is translated into practical behavior and sustained performance.
- Design approaches that strengthen change readiness by integrating practice, reinforcement, nudges, and performance support into both change management and AI education experiences.
- Partner closely with L&D, HR, and business teams to align change readiness and AI education with leadership capability, decision-making, and human skills development.
- Oversee the execution of change readiness and AI education activation plans across all audiences—including leaders, managers, and employees—adapting approaches based on organizational readiness and specific role needs.
- Embed change management principles and readiness-building strategies into AI education offerings (such as Copilot enablement, AI fluency paths, and applied bootcamps) to foster confidence and consistent use.
- Measure change readiness, adoption, and practical application of AI capabilities, with an emphasis on observable behavior change, leadership effectiveness, and business impact.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with demonstrated depth in change management, learning activation, workforce enablement, or related roles.
- Proven experience driving adoption and behavior change, particularly for new tools, technologies, or enterprise-wide ways of working.
- Strong change and activation expertise, with the ability to design reinforcement, practice, and support models beyond traditional training.
- Highly collaborative working style, partnering across leadership development, AI education, HR, and business teams to drive alignment and results.
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in change activation, learning enablement, workforce transformation, or organizational capability roles.
- Experience supporting AI, digital, or technology adoption, focusing on confidence, judgment, and day-to-day application – not just technical knowledge.
- Demonstrated success moving from program-based learning to practice-based capability models.
- Comfort operating in evolving, ambiguous environments, adapting activation approaches as business needs and AI capabilities change.
- Bachelor's Degree
Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.
The expected salary range for this position is $107,300 - $142,900. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding TN Visa Sponsorship as an Education Manager
Verify your degree field matches the role
CBP officers assess whether your education credentials align with the Teacher category under USMCA. A degree in education administration, curriculum development, or instructional design supports your case more cleanly than an unrelated field, even with years of experience.
Request a detailed support letter from your employer
Your offer letter needs to describe the role in terms that map to USMCA's Teacher category. Ask HR to specify that you'll be managing educational programs, not just personnel, since CBP distinguishes program oversight from general administrative management.
Target school districts and nonprofit training organizations
K-12 districts, community colleges, and workforce development nonprofits regularly hire Education Managers and are familiar with TN sponsorship requirements. These institutions often have in-house HR staff who have processed TN documentation before, reducing back-and-forth with your employer.
Search TN-sponsored Education Manager jobs on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Education Manager roles by employers with active TN visa sponsorship history. This cuts out the guesswork of approaching employers who have no experience with USMCA professional categories and shortens your job search timeline.
Clarify your status on TN before any I-9 conversation
Once you have an offer, your employer will complete an I-9 and may use E-Verify to confirm your work authorization. Bring your TN approval documentation or CBP admission stamp so HR can complete this step accurately without flagging your status as unresolved.
Plan around Mexican consular appointment lead times
Mexican citizens applying for TN status cannot use the streamlined port-of-entry process available to Canadians. Consular appointment availability varies by location and time of year, so factor in several weeks of lead time when negotiating your start date with a prospective employer.

Find Education Manager JobsEducation Manager TN Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Does an Education Manager role qualify for TN visa status?
Education Manager roles typically qualify under the USMCA's Teacher category, which covers professionals engaged in developing, managing, and evaluating educational programs. The key is demonstrating that the position requires specialized knowledge in education, not just general management. Your offer letter should describe program oversight, curriculum accountability, or instructional leadership to satisfy CBP's assessment at entry.
How does TN visa sponsorship compare to H-1B for Education Manager jobs?
TN is faster and more predictable for Canadian and Mexican Education Managers. There's no lottery, no annual cap for Canadians, and no multi-month USCIS adjudication wait. Canadian citizens can receive TN status at a port of entry the same day with the right documentation. H-1B requires employer sponsorship through a lottery selection process that most education sector employers avoid.
What documents does a Canadian Education Manager need at the border?
You'll need a valid Canadian passport, a detailed employer offer letter describing your Education Manager duties and the USMCA category you qualify under, and proof of your educational credentials such as a university degree in education or a related field. CBP officers at the port of entry make the final determination. Bring originals and copies of all documents.
Where can I find Education Manager jobs with TN visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Canadian and Mexican professionals searching for roles with TN visa sponsorship. You can filter Education Manager positions by employers who have actively sponsored TN workers, which removes the uncertainty of approaching employers unfamiliar with the USMCA professional categories. Most general job boards don't surface sponsorship status at all.
Can a Mexican Education Manager apply for TN status the same way a Canadian can?
No. Mexican nationals cannot use the port-of-entry process available to Canadians. They must apply for a TN visa through a U.S. consulate in Mexico, which requires scheduling an interview and waiting for visa issuance before traveling to the United States. The underlying eligibility criteria are the same, but the process is longer and involves consular review rather than CBP adjudication at the border.
