Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding TN Visa Sponsorship as a Logistics Manager
Align your credentials to USMCA categories
TN eligibility for Logistics Managers typically falls under the Management Consultant or Scientific Technician category. Gather transcripts showing a degree in logistics, supply chain, or industrial engineering before you approach any employer.
Target employers with cross-border supply chains
Companies moving goods between Canada, Mexico, and the U.S. are accustomed to TN sponsorship and already work with Canadian and Mexican logistics professionals. Prioritize distributors, 3PLs, and manufacturers with documented cross-border operations.
Request a TN support letter at offer stage
Once you have an offer, ask the employer to draft a TN support letter specifying your job title, duties, qualifying degree, and intended duration. CBP at the port of entry reviews this letter alongside your credentials, so vague language causes delays.
Use Migrate Mate to filter verified TN sponsoring employers
Not every company willing to hire you understands TN paperwork. Search Migrate Mate to find Logistics Manager roles at employers with recent visa filings, so you spend time on realistic opportunities.
Prepare for Mexican national TN filing differences
Mexican nationals cannot apply at the port of entry like Canadians. You must apply at a U.S. consulate in Mexico and obtain the TN visa stamp before starting work, so build at least four to six weeks into your timeline after receiving an offer.
Confirm the employer understands no USCIS petition is needed for Canadians
Canadian professionals can activate TN status at the border without a prior USCIS filing. If an employer's HR team insists on filing Form I-129 first, clarify the CBP process to avoid unnecessary delays in your start date.

Find Logistics Manager JobsLogistics Manager TN Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Logistics Manager role qualify for TN visa sponsorship?
Logistics Manager positions can qualify under the TN visa's Management Consultant or Industrial Engineer categories, depending on your specific duties and credentials. Your employer's support letter must clearly describe responsibilities tied to a qualifying USMCA occupation, and your degree must align with that category. Roles focused on general operations management with no specialized technical or consulting function are harder to support.
How does TN compare to H-1B for Logistics Manager jobs?
TN has no annual lottery and no cap for Canadian nationals, so you can start work as soon as CBP approves your application at the port of entry. H-1B requires your employer to enter a lottery in March, and selection is not guaranteed. For Logistics Managers with Canadian or Mexican citizenship and a qualifying degree, TN is a faster and more reliable path to U.S. employment.
Can I search for Logistics Manager jobs with TN sponsorship in one place?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Canadian and Mexican professionals seeking TN visa roles. You can search Logistics Manager positions filtered by employers with recent visa filings, which removes the guesswork of approaching companies unfamiliar with visa sponsorship. These employers have demonstrated experience navigating work visa processes and are more likely to understand the TN requirements for your role.
What happens if my Logistics Manager duties span multiple USMCA categories?
CBP evaluates your primary job function, not a job title alone. If your role combines supply chain strategy with hands-on technical coordination, your employer's support letter should describe the dominant duties and tie them to the strongest qualifying category. Mixing categories in one letter without a clear primary function is a common reason for TN delays or denials at the port of entry.
How often does a TN visa need to be renewed for Logistics Manager positions?
TN status is granted in increments of up to three years and can be renewed indefinitely as long as you maintain a qualifying job offer and the employer continues to sponsor you. Canadians can renew at the border with updated employer documentation. Mexican nationals must renew through a U.S. consulate, so plan for consular appointment wait times when approaching your renewal window.
