SALARY
- Salary: $160,000 - $200,000 /year base + Production
- Pro-sal with no negative accrual and no deficits

Responsibilities
The Medical Director is responsible for overseeing the medical operations within the hospital, serving as a mentor to the medical staff. Leading the advancement of high-quality patient care and client service. Serve as a mentor to staff, providing stability and leadership within the Hospital.
- Supporting DVMs to develop an understanding and best practices of how behaviors impact revenue.
- Provide DVM’s one on one development supporting quarterly production, reviewing production performance and coach for improvement.
- Work with the Hospital Manager on weekly priorities and expectations.
- Meet regularly with the Hospital Manager to review controllable costs: DVM and Support Payroll, Inventory.
- Work in collaboration with the Hospital Manager to maintain and build our relationships with the referring community.
- Evaluate and monitor protocols for daily running/flow of hospital from intake to discharge.
- Play a significant part in the decision-making process and implementation of any new initiatives within their hospital.
- Technically advanced in their field and possess strong emotional intelligence; those who are self-aware, have positive attitudes, authenticity, and empathy toward others.
- Participate in weekly operational conference calls.
- Participate in practice management updates and training at all levels.
- Have strong proven leadership abilities, strong mentoring and team building skills, excellent communication with colleagues and the referring community, and possess a foundation of business skills to work alongside the Hospital Director to support the growing success of the hospital.
COMPENSATION
$180,000 - $220,000
