Vice President Jobs in Miami: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a vice president job in Miami?
The clearest path in Miami is building senior leadership experience within the sectors that dominate local hiring: financial services and private equity in Brickell, real estate development citywide, healthcare systems serving South Florida, and international trade and logistics firms headquartered near the port. Candidates who speak Spanish and bring cross-border business experience stand out in Miami's heavily Latin American-facing corporate environment. Director-level roles at Miami-headquartered firms are the most common internal step up.
Which companies hire vice presidents in Miami?
Companies currently hiring vice presidents in Miami include JPMorganChase, Citi, and Lucky Strike Entertainment, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Miami's VP hiring is driven by a mix of global financial institutions with regional headquarters in Brickell, large health systems, and privately held real estate and development firms rooted in South Florida.
Are there remote vice president jobs in Miami?
Yes, though VP roles lean on-site given their leadership and stakeholder responsibilities. About 36% of vice president openings tied to Miami are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with the highest flexibility found in technology, marketing, and certain finance functions. VP roles in real estate, healthcare operations, and client-facing financial services in Miami almost always require an in-person presence.
How can I get a vice president job in Miami with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Miami is landing a director or senior manager role at a mid-size firm in Brickell or Coral Gables and building toward a promotion internally. Miami's financial services boutiques, regional banks, and privately held real estate developers frequently promote from within and are more accessible than large global institutions. Bilingual fluency in Spanish and a network built through local business associations such as the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce meaningfully accelerates the path.
Which industries hire the most vice presidents in Miami?
Miami vice president roles concentrate in Banking & Financial Services, Investment & Asset Management, and Technology & Software, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Miami's position as a gateway to Latin America drives outsized demand for VP-level talent in finance, real estate, and trade-facing industries that require executive leadership with regional expertise.
