Vice President Jobs in New Hampshire: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a vice president in New Hampshire?
Most vice president roles in New Hampshire require a bachelor's degree at minimum, with many employers preferring an MBA or equivalent graduate credential. New Hampshire does not impose a state-issued license specific to the vice president title, so advancement typically follows a track of progressive leadership roles within your industry. Candidates who build deep expertise in sectors like financial services, healthcare, or defense technology, which are prominent in New Hampshire, tend to move into vice president positions most reliably.
Which companies hire vice presidents in New Hampshire?
New Hampshire vice president roles are posted by Franklin Pierce University, Insmed Incorporated, and Fidelity Investments and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. New Hampshire's concentration of financial services firms, defense contractors, and regional health systems means vice president openings appear across a wide range of industries rather than clustering in a single sector.
Which New Hampshire cities have the most vice president jobs?
Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and Rindge account for the largest share of vice president openings in New Hampshire. Manchester and Nashua drive the most volume as the state's largest commercial centers, home to financial services firms and technology companies, while Concord's concentration of state government agencies, insurers, and healthcare administrators supports consistent executive-level demand.
Are there remote vice president jobs in New Hampshire?
Yes, though they are less common than in purely analytical or individual-contributor roles, since vice presidents typically lead teams and engage with stakeholders in person. About 36% of vice president openings tied to New Hampshire are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting a market that has embraced flexible arrangements selectively. Strategy, finance, and business development functions tend to have the highest share of remote-eligible vice president roles.
How can I get hired as a vice president in New Hampshire with little or no experience?
The most realistic path is to build toward the title from a senior manager or director role rather than targeting it directly without leadership experience. In New Hampshire, large employers like Dartmouth Health and BAE Systems hire into senior operational and program management roles that serve as direct feeders to vice president positions. Pursuing an MBA from a New Hampshire institution such as the University of New Hampshire or Southern New Hampshire University can accelerate that progression, and earning a Project Management Professional or Certified Public Accountant credential adds a competitive edge for candidates in finance or operations tracks.
Where can I find and apply to vice president jobs in New Hampshire?
You can find and apply to vice president jobs in New Hampshire on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across the state. Search the listings to find roles that match your background, seniority level, and preferred location, then apply directly to the ones that fit.
