Recognizing that demand for solar panels would exceed availability and 100,000 tons of waste would potentially go into landfills by 2035, our team searched for an innovative way to upcycle solar panels. With an eye on the future, we developed ways to upcycle solar panels.
Rooted in family and community values, we’re proud to have second-generation employees contributing to our legacy. Backed by Clearlake Capital, we’ve expanded our footprint into Europe with facilities in Spain, Italy, Denmark, Germany and Poland. Which companies sponsor visas for finance business partners in Alabama?
Regions Financial and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama are among the larger Birmingham-based employers that have sponsored work visas for finance professionals. In Huntsville, defense contractors such as Northrop Grumman, Leidos, and SAIC hire finance business partners and have established sponsorship processes. Larger multinationals with Alabama operations are generally more likely to sponsor than smaller regional firms.
Which visa types are most common for finance business partner roles in Alabama?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for finance business partners in Alabama, as the role typically requires at least a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, meeting the specialty occupation standard. Candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may qualify for TN visa status under the USMCA. Those with an existing employer relationship may also explore L-1 visa transfers if their company has a U.S. presence.
Which cities in Alabama have the most finance business partner sponsorship jobs?
Birmingham is Alabama's primary hub for finance business partner roles, given its concentration of banking, insurance, and healthcare finance employers. Huntsville is a growing second market driven by defense and government contracting, where finance business partners support complex program budgets. Montgomery, as the state capital, offers some opportunities within government-adjacent organizations, but sponsorship activity there is more limited.
How to find finance business partner visa sponsorship jobs in Alabama?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse finance business partner openings in Alabama without sifting through roles that won't support international candidates. You can narrow results by location, targeting Birmingham or Huntsville where sponsoring employers are concentrated. Migrate Mate also provides context on which employers have a track record of sponsoring finance roles.
Are there any Alabama-specific considerations for finance business partners seeking sponsorship?
Alabama's finance job market leans heavily on a few key industries, so candidates benefit from experience in banking, insurance, healthcare finance, or defense contracting. The University of Alabama and Auburn University produce local finance talent, so international candidates should emphasize specialized skills or industry experience that differentiates them. Prevailing wage requirements under H-1B rules apply statewide, and employers must file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor before sponsoring.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored finance business partner jobs in Alabama?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
