Which companies sponsor visas for cloud solutions architects in Arizona?
Several large employers in Arizona have active histories of sponsoring work visas for cloud solutions architects. These include Intel in Chandler, Banner Health and Dignity Health in Phoenix, and financial services firms like American Express and JPMorgan Chase. Technology consultancies and managed service providers operating across the Phoenix metro also regularly file H-1B petitions for experienced cloud architects.
Which visa types are most common for cloud solutions architect roles in Arizona?
The H-1B is the most frequently used visa category for cloud solutions architects in Arizona, as the role consistently qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. Candidates already authorized under OPT or STEM OPT may transition to H-1B through employer sponsorship. L-1B intracompany transfers are also used when candidates move from a foreign office of a multinational employer.
Which cities in Arizona have the most cloud solutions architect sponsorship jobs?
Phoenix accounts for the largest share of cloud solutions architect sponsorship jobs in Arizona, driven by its concentration of enterprise employers in healthcare, finance, and technology. Scottsdale and Tempe follow closely, with Tempe benefiting from proximity to Arizona State University and a strong tech startup presence. Chandler is notable for Intel's large semiconductor campus, which regularly hires cloud and infrastructure architects.
How to find cloud solutions architect visa sponsorship jobs in Arizona?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse cloud solutions architect roles in Arizona without sorting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. You can filter by state and role type to surface relevant openings from employers across Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, and Chandler. This is particularly useful for candidates on OPT or those seeking H-1B sponsorship for the upcoming cap season.
Are there any Arizona-specific factors that affect cloud solutions architect sponsorship hiring?
Arizona's growing data center corridor, particularly in the West Phoenix and Goodyear areas, has increased employer demand for cloud architects with multi-cloud and infrastructure-as-code experience. Arizona State University and the University of Arizona supply a steady pipeline of computer science graduates, which can affect hiring timelines for entry-level roles. Prevailing wage determinations for cloud solutions architects in the Phoenix metro are set by the Department of Labor and must be met by any employer filing an H-1B or PERM application.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored cloud solutions architect jobs in Arizona?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
