Which companies sponsor visas for solutions architects in Arizona?
Large technology and enterprise employers in Arizona with a history of H-1B sponsorship for solutions architect roles include Intel, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, IBM, Honeywell, and Raytheon Technologies. Phoenix-based fintech and cloud services firms also sponsor regularly. Sponsorship activity concentrates most heavily among employers with established immigration programs and recurring technical hiring needs, rather than early-stage startups.
Which visa types are most common for solutions architect roles in Arizona?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for solutions architects in Arizona, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field. Candidates from Australia may pursue the E-3 visa. Those with intracompany transfer history at qualifying multinationals may be eligible for the L-1B for specialized knowledge workers.
Which cities in Arizona have the most solutions architect sponsorship jobs?
Phoenix and its surrounding metro communities, including Scottsdale, Tempe, and Chandler, account for the large majority of solutions architect sponsorship activity in Arizona. This concentration reflects the metro area's density of cloud, semiconductor, aerospace, and financial technology employers. Tucson has a smaller but active market tied to defense contractors, the University of Arizona's technology ecosystem, and regional managed services providers.
How to find solutions architect visa sponsorship jobs in Arizona?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse solutions architect roles in Arizona without sorting through positions that exclude international candidates. You can search by role and state to surface active openings from employers who have confirmed they sponsor. This saves significant time compared to manually researching each company's sponsorship history across general job boards.
Are there any Arizona-specific considerations for solutions architects seeking visa sponsorship?
Arizona's Department of Economic Security participates in E-Verify, and many large employers in the state, particularly federal contractors in defense and aerospace, are legally required to use it. For H-1B petitions, employers must file a Labor Condition Application certifying the offered wage meets the prevailing wage for solutions architects in the specific Arizona metropolitan area, which is determined by the Department of Labor's wage data for that location.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored solutions architect jobs in Arizona?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
