GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Applications Administrator III administers the technology and workflows associated with the software applications. This position acts as a liaison with designated departments, application vendors, training, and other support staff to ensure the highest level of service and availability in a fast-paced, constantly growing financial institution. The Applications Administrator III is responsible for customization requests, standardized user security, security groups, application optimization, understanding and documenting the information and business needs, and working with the IT department for the installation of approved upgrades and maintaining and supporting the application environment. This position is involved in designing new features and configurations for the system, as well as testing methodologies to evaluate the performance of the system. The Application Administrator III will also mentor Applications Admin I and II to advance their knowledge and expertise.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide specialized technical expertise and user support necessary for day-to-day administration and maintenance of Retail, Lending, Enterprise and Deposit Operations applications.

Proactively monitor applications, provide and advise on solutions that prevent or minimize employee and customer impact.

Administer the security model based on functional responsibilities.

Work with the Information Security department to implement and maintain standard security groups based on user job function.

Provide production support including, but not limited to, workflow management, researching and resolving system related issues, including troubleshooting in a timely manner.

Build and maintain relationships with vendor support and other institutions using the same applications.

Regularly attend vendors user conference and actively participate in user groups.

Successfully complete vendor provided training.

Work directly with functional departments to ensure system usage is efficient and understand business needs, works with stakeholders to receive approval and implement changes.

Recommend system and process changes based on knowledge of application capabilities and business needs.

Provide assistance in the design, configuration, and modification of supported applications to suit organizational needs.

Provide production support including, but not limited to, workflow management, researching and resolving system related issues, including troubleshooting in a timely manner.

Document and maintain all processes and procedures for assigned applications.

Complete work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service.

Backup for the computer operator as needed.

Identify and recommend solutions or alternative methods to simplify, standardize, improve, or meet new and existing requirements for the supported applications.

Support the daily performance of the assigned applications.

Provide assistance in building workflows and automation within the assigned applications.

The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Complete required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned.

Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four year college degree, plus 4 years related experience and/or training.
