Which companies sponsor visas for service coordinators in Arkansas?
Healthcare systems are the most active sponsors in Arkansas, including UAMS Medical Center, Arkansas Children's Hospital, and Baptist Health. Disability services organizations such as Easterseals Arkansas and state-contracted community support agencies also hire service coordinators. Larger nonprofit networks and managed care organizations operating in Little Rock and Northwest Arkansas have documented H-1B visa sponsorship histories, particularly for roles requiring specialized degrees in social work, healthcare administration, or human services.
Which visa types are most common for service coordinator roles in Arkansas?
The H-1B is the most common visa for service coordinators whose roles qualify as specialty occupations, typically requiring a bachelor's degree in social work, healthcare administration, or a related field. TN visas are an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying categories. Some positions at nonprofit organizations may be eligible for cap-exempt H-1B petitions, which bypass the annual lottery and allow year-round filing.
Which cities in Arkansas have the most service coordinator sponsorship jobs?
Little Rock has the highest concentration of service coordinator sponsorship opportunities, driven by UAMS, Baptist Health, and state agency headquarters. Fayetteville and Bentonville in Northwest Arkansas are growing markets, with Walmart's supply chain ecosystem and expanding healthcare providers increasing demand. Fort Smith and Jonesboro also have active service coordinator hiring, particularly within regional hospital systems and community mental health centers.
How to find service coordinator visa sponsorship jobs in Arkansas?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse service coordinator roles in Arkansas without sorting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. You can filter by state and job category to surface roles at healthcare systems, disability services organizations, and nonprofits across Little Rock, Fayetteville, and other Arkansas markets. Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates navigating sponsorship requirements.
What should international candidates know about service coordinator roles in Arkansas specifically?
Arkansas has a notable concentration of Medicaid-funded service coordination roles tied to the state's developmental disabilities and home-and-community-based services programs. Employers sponsoring for these positions must meet Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements for the relevant occupational category and county. UAMS also serves as a pipeline for international graduates from its health sciences programs. Candidates with licensure in social work or case management credentials generally strengthen their sponsorship eligibility with Arkansas employers.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored service coordinator jobs in Arkansas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
