- Prepare executive- and board-ready materials that clearly articulate bookings performance, margin drivers, and forward outlook.
- Enhance forecasting accuracy and scalability through process automation and improved data modeling.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles with a strong focus on integrity, clarity, and strategic insight.

Which technology companies in California sponsor F-1 OPT visas?
Many of California's largest technology employers have established track records of hiring F-1 OPT students, including Google, Apple, Meta, Salesforce, Netflix, and Adobe, all headquartered in the state. Mid-size and growth-stage companies in the Bay Area and Los Angeles also sponsor OPT regularly. Sponsorship decisions are made at the employer and role level, so availability varies even within the same company.
Which cities in California have the most technology F-1 OPT sponsorship jobs?
The San Francisco Bay Area, encompassing San Jose, San Francisco, and surrounding Silicon Valley cities, has the highest concentration of technology OPT sponsorship roles in California. Los Angeles is a growing hub, particularly for roles in entertainment technology, e-commerce, and startups. San Diego has a strong cluster of biotech-adjacent software and data roles. Remote-eligible positions with California-based employers also appear frequently.
What types of technology roles typically qualify for F-1 OPT sponsorship in California?
Software engineering, data science, machine learning, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, product management, and UX research are among the most commonly sponsored technology roles in California. These positions typically require a degree directly related to the work, which aligns well with OPT's requirement that employment be in a field related to your major. Roles where the connection between degree and job function is clear tend to have fewer complications.
How do I find technology F-1 OPT sponsorship jobs in California?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international students and filters technology jobs in California by visa type, including F-1 OPT, so you're not sorting through listings from employers who don't sponsor. Searching Migrate Mate lets you focus on companies with a history of OPT hiring in the state, which is more efficient than applying broadly and discovering sponsorship limitations late in the process.
Are there any California-specific considerations for F-1 OPT sponsorship in technology?
California's technology sector moves quickly, and many employers are familiar with OPT authorization timelines, but you should confirm that your Employment Authorization Document start date aligns with your offer date before accepting. STEM OPT extension eligibility is particularly relevant in California's tech industry, since many qualifying roles at E-Verify employers can support a 24-month extension beyond the initial 12 months of OPT.
