This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working with data, and seeing their ideas translate into real operational improvements.
This position is ideal for a strategy-minded operator (e.g., consulting, strategy, or advanced analytics background) who excels at structuring ambiguous problems, extracting insight from imperfect data, and translating strategy into action within a complex, high-volume environment.

Support KPI Tracking & Performance Management
- Contribute to KPI tracking and reporting by analyzing performance trends and identifying drivers of change
- Support post-launch and post-mortem analyses to measure impact and capture learnings
- Highlight high-impact opportunities to improve throughput, service levels, and cost efficiency
Contribute to Strategic Planning
- Support longer-term planning efforts by building analyses and frameworks that inform operational strategy
- Conduct benchmarking and research to bring new ideas and perspectives to the team
- Help connect day-to-day performance insights to broader business priorities
Collaborate Across Teams
- Work cross-functionally with Operations, Product, Finance, and Systems to move initiatives forward
- Manage multiple projects across analysis, testing, and implementation phases
- Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to a range of stakeholders
What You Bring To The Role
Minimum Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in management consulting, strategy, or analytics roles
- Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous problems and translate data into strategic recommendations and business cases
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience using Excel/Google Sheets and Business Intelligence tools to work with large datasets, ideally through a financial, capacity, or multi-scenario lens
- Experience designing and evaluating experiments or pilots, including defining success metrics and interpreting results
- Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex workstreams and drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working cross-functionally across operations, merchandising, product, and analytics teams
- Proficiency in Google Suite (ex. Gmail, Google Slides, Google Sheets)
- Ability to travel up to 15%
Preferred Requirements:
- Professional experience ideally includes 2+ years in management consulting or strategy
- Experience with Visio or similar process mapping tools
- Experience in ecommerce, marketplace, logistics, supply chain, or high-volume operational environments
- Familiarity with KPI design, experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, pilot structures), and performance measurement systems

Which e-commerce companies in California sponsor Green Cards?
eBay (San Jose), Amazon (multiple California offices), Shopify (Los Angeles), and a range of direct-to-consumer and marketplace startups across the Bay Area and LA regularly file PERM applications and I-140 petitions for qualifying employees. Larger companies with established immigration programs tend to sponsor more consistently than early-stage startups, which may offer sponsorship case by case.
Which California cities have the most e-commerce Green Card sponsorship jobs?
San Jose and the broader Bay Area lead in volume, driven by e-commerce infrastructure, payments, and platform engineering roles. Los Angeles has grown significantly as a hub for DTC brands, social commerce, and fulfillment operations. San Francisco concentrates product and engineering roles. San Diego and Sacramento have smaller but active e-commerce hiring markets with occasional sponsorship activity.
What types of e-commerce roles typically qualify for Green Card sponsorship in California?
Software engineering, data science, product management, UX design, and supply chain analytics roles most commonly qualify, as they typically require a specific bachelor's or advanced degree. EB-2 petitions are common for senior technical and product roles. EB-3 covers roles where a degree is required but the position is more broadly defined. Warehouse operations and general customer service roles rarely qualify for employer-sponsored Green Cards.
How do I find e-commerce Green Card sponsorship jobs in California?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter by visa type, industry, and state to surface California e-commerce roles where employers have a documented history of Green Card sponsorship. Because sponsorship intent is rarely stated in standard job postings, using a platform like Migrate Mate that aggregates and filters by sponsorship track record saves significant time during your job search.
Are there California-specific considerations for e-commerce Green Card sponsorship?
California's strong worker protections affect the PERM recruitment process. Employers must conduct good-faith recruitment and demonstrate no qualified U.S. workers are available for the role before the Department of Labor certifies the application. California's high concentration of international tech talent also means PERM audits can be more frequent in certain job categories, so employer immigration experience matters when evaluating a potential sponsor.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card e-commerce jobs in California?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
