Which e-commerce companies sponsor Green Card visas in New Jersey?
Amazon's fulfillment and logistics operations in New Jersey have a documented history of Green Card sponsorship, as do several regional e-commerce and retail-tech companies headquartered in the state. Mid-size direct-to-consumer brands and marketplace platforms based in northern New Jersey also sponsor, particularly for software engineering, data, and supply chain roles. Sponsorship activity is most consistent at larger employers with established immigration programs.
Which cities in New Jersey have the most e-commerce Green Card sponsorship jobs?
Newark, Edison, and Jersey City concentrate the most e-commerce sponsorship activity in New Jersey, largely because of their proximity to New York City and major logistics infrastructure. Parsippany and Bridgewater also have a presence, hosting corporate offices for retail and e-commerce companies. Northern New Jersey overall sees higher sponsorship volume than southern parts of the state due to the density of headquarters and distribution operations.
What types of e-commerce roles typically qualify for Green Card sponsorship in New Jersey?
Green Card sponsorship in e-commerce most commonly applies to roles requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field, such as software engineering, data science, product management, digital marketing analytics, and supply chain management. Generalist or operational roles without a degree requirement are less likely to qualify under employment-based Green Card categories. Specialized technical and managerial positions at larger e-commerce employers represent the most consistent sponsorship pathway.
How do I find e-commerce Green Card sponsorship jobs in New Jersey?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter by visa type, industry, and state to surface e-commerce roles in New Jersey where employers have indicated Green Card sponsorship. Because sponsorship availability isn't always listed on general job postings, using a platform like Migrate Mate that focuses on verified sponsorship data saves significant time compared to manually screening job listings.
Are there any New Jersey-specific considerations for Green Card sponsorship in e-commerce?
New Jersey's position within the New York metro area means many e-commerce employers operate across state lines, so a job physically based in New Jersey may involve an employer's broader regional immigration program. Prevailing wage requirements under the PERM process are calculated by location, so New Jersey roles carry wage determinations specific to the state's labor market. It's worth confirming with any prospective employer which office or entity would be the sponsoring legal entity.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card e-commerce jobs in New Jersey?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
