Role Overview
As a Director, Product Management, you lead our PLG strategy and execution across the full customer journey from acquisition through onboarding and retention. You own the product experiences and surfaces that drive how Pros discover, evaluate, adopt, and ultimately achieve success on HCP. You set the vision and drive execution to grow the business through product initiatives tightly aligned to GTM and customer LTV outcomes. You manage a high-performing team of growth product managers, collaborate across sales, marketing, engineering, design, and analytics, and are a key voice in aligning growth product direction with company objectives.
You thrive in the strategic and hands-on, balancing the development of longer-term roadmaps that compound growth with day-to-day experimentation that moves funnel metrics today. You utilize HCP's deep trove of customer data to identify acquisition, activation, and retention opportunities. You balance "traditional" growth product work — funnel optimization, packaging and monetization tests, etc. — with "AI native" solutions that personalize and accelerate the path from first touch to active customer. You serve as a leader in the product organization, and shape the future of how HCP grows.
Our team is passionate, empathetic, hard working, and above all else focused on improving the lives of our service professionals (our Pros). Our success is their success.
What you do each day:
- Drive the vision and strategy across our marketing site, signup / trial, onboarding, and self-serve experiences, owning outcomes from acquisition through activation and retention
- Partner with stakeholders across marketing, sales, BD, and monetization to align self-serve and sales-led motions, shared goals, and strategic initiatives
- Execute against our AI / agentic GTM strategy through experiences that personalize the funnel, accelerate time-to-value, and reduce friction across signup and onboarding
- Use AI natively in your product development workflow — prototyping, research, evaluation, and iteration — and require the same of your team
- Drive accountability across your teams' roadmaps, ensuring your PMs are using good judgment to prioritize experiments and bets that maximize lift across the funnel
- Foster a rapid experimentation culture with structured tests, evaluations, and learning loops across acquisition and activation surfaces
- Establish, monitor, and evolve funnel KPIs (visitsignup, signupactivation, trialpaid, retention) to evaluate performance and inform opportunities
- Lead and mentor a growing team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous learning
- Identify and evaluate future growth opportunities and integrate them into long-term planning
Qualifications
- Native fluency using AI throughout the product development lifecycle, including research, solution options, prototyping, evaluation, and iteration
- Proven experience building and launching product-led growth motions end-to-end across acquisition, onboarding, and retention
- Strongly preferred: direct experience delivering AI and/or agentic GTM solutions
- 10+ years of experience in product management, preferably in SaaS environments
- 3+ years in product leadership roles with direct people management responsibilities
- Demonstrated track record of delivering growth with measurable revenue impact
- Strong strategic and operational thinking with ability to toggle between vision and execution
- Experience defining KPIs and iterating based on data-driven insight
- Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder alignment skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
What will help you succeed:
- Proven experience driving team efficiency or output quality through the strategic use of AI tools and automation
- Leadership style rooted in mentorship, accountability, and collaboration
- Familiarity with conversion rate / funnel optimization and growth experimentation
- Experience scaling GTM motions in a SaaS environment, proficient understanding of SaaS economics
- Ability to scale teams and product scope in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong executive presence and ability to influence across all levels of the organization

Which companies sponsor visas for director, product management roles in Colorado?
Companies with a consistent track record of sponsoring director-level product management roles in Colorado include Palantir Technologies (Denver), Trimble (Westminster), Zoom (Denver), Dish Network (Englewood), and Arrow Electronics (Centennial). Several fintech and healthtech scale-ups headquartered in Denver and Boulder have also filed H-1B petitions for senior product leaders, particularly as those companies expanded their engineering and product organizations.
Which visa types are most common for director, product management roles in Colorado?
The H-1B is the most frequently used visa for director, product management roles in Colorado, as the position typically requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as computer science, business, or engineering. Senior candidates with an exceptional portfolio of achievements may also qualify for an O-1A visa, which does not require employer-specific sponsorship in the same way and is not subject to the annual lottery.
How to find director, product management visa sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to identify director, product management openings in Colorado where employers are actively willing to sponsor. Rather than sorting through general job boards, you can search by role and state to surface companies like Palantir, Trimble, or Denver-based healthtech firms that have a documented history of sponsoring product leadership hires.
Which cities in Colorado have the most director, product management sponsorship jobs?
Denver is the primary concentration point for director, product management sponsorship activity in Colorado, particularly in neighborhoods like LoDo and the Central Business District where larger tech and enterprise software employers are based. Boulder is a secondary hub, with a density of venture-backed startups that occasionally sponsor at the director level. Englewood, Westminster, and Broomfield round out the metro area with established corporate product teams.
Are there any Colorado-specific considerations for director, product management visa sponsorship?
Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires employers to disclose compensation ranges in job postings, which makes it easier to assess whether an offered salary meets the Department of Labor's prevailing wage requirement for H-1B petitions before you apply. Director-level product roles in Colorado are typically classified under SOC codes associated with computer and information systems managers, and employers must certify they are paying at least the prevailing wage for that classification in the relevant metro area.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored director, product management jobs in Colorado?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
