Seegrid is the leading provider of Physical AI for material handling. Our solution includes autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), fleet management software, actionable analytics, and best-in-class services and support. Our technology is proven. Our AMRs have safely driven millions of autonomous miles in real-world production facilities. We are seeking energetic, bright, and friendly people to help achieve our vision: to fortify global supply chains and create profitable economies with safe, seamless, and smart mobile robotics solutions.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Director of Product Management (PdM) to help define the product strategy and own the roadmap for our material handling solutions. You will lead a team of Product Managers (PMs) and Technical Product Managers (TPMs) responsible for bringing that vision to life. This is a high-impact leadership role that reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer.
Our AMR lineup spans three core form factors: the Tow Tractor for heavy payload transport, the Lift RS1 for low-lift pallet handling up to 6 feet, and the Lift CR1 for high-reach applications up to 15 feet and 4,000 lbs. Each AMR runs on our proprietary autonomy stack and is managed through Fleet Central, our enterprise fleet management software platform. The portfolio is rounded out by a growing set of accessories and workflow solutions, and is backed by market-leading deployment, support, and services. Several new products are currently in development intended to expand our addressable market into new applications and customer segments.
This role is deeply cross-functional. You will work closely with engineering teams spanning hardware, software, and test, as well as commercial teams including sales and operations. Success in this role requires someone who is equally comfortable in a technical design review and a business conversation, whether with customers or in internal strategic discussions.
Responsibilities Include:
- Define and own the multi-year product roadmap aligned with company strategy and market opportunity
- Define and track metrics that will drive product innovation and ensure the operational health, reliability, and value of our material handling solutions
- Together with your team you will translate complex customer needs into clear product definitions with a compelling value proposition and market differentiation
- Identify opportunities for new products and improvements to existing ones through customer/market research, competitive analysis, and technology trends
- Partner closely with engineering, supply chain, sales, and marketing on product priorities and release schedules
- Navigate business and technical trade-offs with rigor and pragmatism
- Build, mentor, and manage a team of PMs, TPMs, and Product Designers
- Establish product development and lifecycle processes appropriate for hardware-constrained timelines, ever evolving industry-specific safety regulations, emerging interoperability standards, and ISO security compliance
- Partner with sales and marketing to develop go-to-market strategies
- Support business development and strategic partnership initiatives
Required Experience:
- BS/MS in technical/analytic field or equivalent professional experience
- 8+ years of PdM experience, with at least 3 years in a people leadership role
- Proven track record shipping products driven by deeply integrated hardware and software; experience with AMRs or Physical AI solutions is a strong plus
- Comfortable operating in a growth-stage company where priorities evolve and building the right processes is part of the job
- Strong business and technical fluency; able to engage credibly with engineers, vendors, customers, and executives
- Exceptional communication skills - written and verbal; able to distill complex ideas into clear, compelling messages and know how to tailor them for the respective audience
- Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, operations, and commercial teams, and to influence outcomes both with and without direct authority
- Financial fluency and experience owing or influencing P&L, including pricing decisions, business case development, and investment allocations
Desired Qualifications:
- PdM background in robotics, artificial intelligence, or an adjacent deep tech domain
- Experience working with large enterprise customers in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, e-commerce, or similar industries to include time spent in the field

Which companies sponsor visas for director, product management roles in Pennsylvania?
Philadelphia-based Comcast is one of Pennsylvania's most active H-1B visa sponsors at the director level, along with SAP's U.S. operations, Independence Blue Cross, and various fintech firms clustered around Center City. In Pittsburgh, PNC Financial Services, Highmark Health, and Carnegie Mellon University's affiliated technology ventures have sponsored senior product management roles. Defense contractors and life sciences companies in the greater Philadelphia corridor also appear regularly in Department of Labor disclosure data for this role.
Which visa types are most common for director, product management roles in Pennsylvania?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for director, product management roles in Pennsylvania, as the position typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or business. Candidates already holding L-1A intracompany transferee status, particularly those moving from a multinational's non-U.S. office into a Pennsylvania director role, represent another notable pathway. O-1A petitions for individuals with demonstrated extraordinary achievement in product management are filed less frequently but do occur at senior levels.
How to find director, product management visa sponsorship jobs in Pennsylvania?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability and U.S. state, making it straightforward to browse director, product management openings in Pennsylvania without sifting through roles that won't support work authorization. Because sponsorship willingness is verified at the listing level, you can focus your applications on employers in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and other Pennsylvania markets who are actively open to sponsoring international candidates at the director level.
Which cities in Pennsylvania have the most director, product management sponsorship jobs?
Philadelphia accounts for the largest share of director, product management sponsorship activity in Pennsylvania, driven by its concentration of large media, financial services, healthcare, and enterprise software employers. Pittsburgh has a growing presence, particularly in health technology, autonomous systems, and university-affiliated startups connected to Carnegie Mellon and the University of Pittsburgh. Smaller clusters exist near Malvern and King of Prussia along the Route 202 technology corridor, where several multinational technology firms have Pennsylvania headquarters.
Are there state-specific considerations for director, product management visa sponsorship in Pennsylvania?
Pennsylvania employers sponsoring H-1B workers at the director level must file a Labor Condition Application certifying that the offered wage meets the prevailing wage for the specific role and geographic area, which differs between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh metropolitan designations. Director-level product management roles are generally classified at wage level III or IV under Department of Labor guidelines, reflecting supervisory responsibility and specialized expertise. Pennsylvania's strong university system, including Wharton, Carnegie Mellon's Tepper School, and Penn State, also creates an established OPT-to-sponsorship pipeline that many in-state employers are familiar with navigating.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored director, product management jobs in Pennsylvania?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
