Which companies sponsor visas for director, product management roles in Utah?
Adobe, Qualtrics, Domo, and Pluralsight are among the Utah tech employers that have sponsored work visas for senior product roles. Larger enterprise software companies headquartered along the Wasatch Front tend to have dedicated immigration support and established HR processes for sponsorship, making them more predictable options for international candidates pursuing director-level product management positions.
Which visa types are most common for director, product management roles in Utah?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for director-level product management roles in Utah, as these positions typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or business. Candidates already holding L-1A visas through a multinational employer may also transfer into director roles, and O-1 petitions are occasionally pursued by candidates with demonstrable product leadership distinction.
Which cities in Utah have the most director, product management sponsorship jobs?
Salt Lake City and its immediate suburbs, particularly Lehi and Draper in the area commonly called Silicon Slopes, concentrate the overwhelming majority of director-level product management roles in the state. Provo also has a notable presence due to its proximity to Brigham Young University and a cluster of SaaS companies. Outside these corridors, sponsorship opportunities at the director level are significantly more limited.
How to find director, product management visa sponsorship jobs in Utah?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to identify Utah employers actively hiring director-level product managers who require immigration support. Rather than sorting through general job postings, you can search directly for director, product management roles in Utah on Migrate Mate and see which companies have a demonstrated history of sponsoring candidates at this seniority level.
Are there any Utah-specific considerations for director, product management visa sponsorship?
Utah's Silicon Slopes ecosystem has matured considerably, with several companies reaching the scale where structured immigration programs are standard. However, director-level roles typically require prevailing wage compliance under Department of Labor guidelines, and at the director tier these wage requirements are set at higher experience levels, which can influence how employers structure sponsorship decisions. Candidates with product management experience at scale tend to align more naturally with what Utah employers require at this level.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored director, product management jobs in Utah?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
