OUR STORY:
Leprino’s history dates back to the 1950s, when Jim Leprino first started making small batches of mozzarella for local markets and eateries in the Little Italy neighborhood of Denver. We’ve grown a bit since then. Today, Leprino is the world’s largest manufacturer of mozzarella and lactose, and a leading producer of whey protein. Still owned by the Leprino family, our sights are set to be the “World’s Best Dairy Food and Ingredient Company.” From a small corner grocery store we have grown to over 5,500 employees throughout the globe. Will you join us on our journey?

Which food and beverage companies in Colorado sponsor F-1 STEM OPT visas?
Colorado employers with documented OPT and STEM OPT hiring histories in food and beverage include large breweries such as Molson Coors in Denver, natural food brands headquartered along the Front Range, and agricultural processing facilities across the region. Companies enrolled in E-Verify are eligible to sponsor STEM OPT extensions, so filtering for E-Verify-enrolled employers is a practical starting point when researching sponsorship-ready food and beverage companies in the state.
Which cities in Colorado have the most food and beverage F-1 STEM OPT sponsorship jobs?
Denver and its metro suburbs account for the largest concentration of food and beverage employers in Colorado, with significant operations from beverage manufacturers, food tech companies, and distribution centers. Fort Collins is a secondary hub, home to established craft breweries and agricultural research activity tied to Colorado State University. Greeley and the northern Front Range corridor also host meat processing and dairy operations that employ food science and quality assurance professionals.
What types of food and beverage roles typically qualify for F-1 STEM OPT sponsorship?
Roles that qualify must be tied to a STEM-designated degree field. In food and beverage, this typically includes food scientist, food safety engineer, quality assurance engineer, supply chain analyst, process engineer, and data analyst positions. These roles connect to degree programs in food science, chemical engineering, industrial engineering, and related STEM disciplines. Positions classified under O*NET STEM occupation codes are eligible, so checking an employer's job description against those classifications helps confirm STEM OPT eligibility.
How do I find food & beverage F-1 STEM OPT sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for F-1 STEM OPT job seekers and surfaces food and beverage roles at Colorado employers with verified sponsorship histories. You can filter by visa type and industry to see which companies have actively filed for OPT and STEM OPT workers in the state. Beyond the job board, confirming that a target employer is E-Verify enrolled is essential, since E-Verify participation is a USCIS requirement for all STEM OPT extensions.
Are there any Colorado-specific or food and beverage-specific considerations for F-1 STEM OPT sponsorship?
Colorado's strong craft beverage and natural foods sectors attract candidates with food science and engineering backgrounds, but sponsorship availability still depends on individual employer size, E-Verify enrollment, and whether the specific role maps to a STEM-designated STEM degree classification. Agricultural processing employers in rural Colorado may have less experience with STEM OPT administrative requirements than large Denver metro companies, so it is worth confirming an employer's familiarity with the formal training plan and DSO reporting obligations before accepting an offer.
